Alice POV

I was in my office, head dipped busy with paperwork and my Queen’s duties. Goddess, now I understand the reason my mother spends so little time with us.

I always pegged this job as easy, but now if you asked me. Goddess! It wasn’t fair to load one soul with the responsibility of the entire realm.

I wish I had some amazing superpowers like Flash’s (Insane speed) or Ben Ten’s Omnitrix watch, so I could transform myself into an alien, according to the circumstances required. In my current situation, I would prefer Four-Arms. But no such luck. That sucks.

I chuckled at my thoughts when, out of nowhere, a black oval-shaped gate appeared in the middle of my office room. Curtains over windows started dancing with the wind that was coming out of the portal.<
