I woke up late in the morning. It was almost noon. I got up and headed to the shower where I took my bath. I got out of the shower and quickly got dressed.

I was hungry so I headed for Cassey’s chamber for some mouth-watering pastries.

‘Ding dong,’ I rang the doorbell.

“Who is it?” Alice asked.

“It’s a ghost,” I said, giggling.

“Oh no mum, it’s a ghost knocking on the door,” she said from behind the door.

“But you told me this morning that you weren’t afraid of ghosts, or where you were lying?” Cassey gasped playfully.

“No mum, I’m not afraid of ghosts or anything.”

“Then prove it. Prove it by opening the door,” Cassey said.

“Ok fine, I’ll prove it by opening the door,” Alice said as she opened the door.

“Boo!,” I exclaimed as she ran and hid behind her mother.

“It’s just you aunt, there was no ghost,” she rose up. “Look mum, it’s aunt at the door, not a ghost. You don’t have to be afraid now, mum, I told you there were no such things as ghosts.”
