It slowly lowered his body, just like a predator ready for a chase. And Elsa could only think of one thing.
Run!!!
She shot up and into a sprint, only to tumble over as the big wolf crashed into her car, narrowly missing her.
"Fucking shit." She looked back at her wreckage of a car. Wincing at the fact her new i-phone was in it.
Probably damaged too.
Damn it.
The big wolf let out a loud growl, knocking her back to her senses.
She barely hesitated for barely a second, then made a run for it.
Running into the woods was a ban in horror movies.
But it wasn't like she had any other choice.
It was either, to run, or be eaten raw.
And unfortunately, the second didn't sound that nice when you think of it.
Elsa huffed and puffed. The constant pump of adrenaline in her veins had her running twice as fast as usual. Her heartbeat resounding in her mouth as she tried not to think of her faith if she was to stop.
"Arrrhhhhhggg......" A loud roar came from behing her, reducing her legs to jellies as she tumbled over a few time before regaining herself. Sprinting even faster while ignoring the harsh pains in her legs.
'Fucking heavens I really don't remember angering anyone recently. If I did, which is probably unconsciously, I am ready to repent oh lord....Budha....anybody up there!!
So please don't let that wolf eat me. I shitty am not interested in being on his menu for lunch. Pretty please....'
She took an unceremonious glance back only to be shocked by the fact that It was gone.
'Wait was my prayer answered?' she doubted. 'so fast?'
she barely had time to organize her thoughts when she ran straight into a tree.
"Fucking shit!!" She was hit with a dull sense of pain, her head blaring with a loud siren as she grabbed on her head. Unable to pinpoint the source of the pain.
She only knew there was something running down her nose. And only when she held out her hand did she realized what it was. 'blood.'
A twig snapped, and she turned her head in reflex. Locking eyes with two crazed yellow ones that made her stomach flip.
"Shit!" She threw her body to the ground. Barely avoiding it's claws as she backed up in the opposite direction. Up against a tree, and with no way to escape.
Only then did she realize the real meaning of 'fucked up'.
Her perfectly manicured fingers digged into dirt. All the survival tips and instincts she had learned where reduced to dust.
She regretted that no one had told her she would be chased by a big wolf one day. If not, she definitely would have read about it.
Seeing there wasn't any other choice. She resorted to the most common and suitable method she knew.
"Help!! Someone help me!!" She screamed on top of her lungs.
There's got to be someone around. Right?
The wolf growled, giving her the inkling it wanted her to shut up, but it only made her shout even louder.
"Help me!! Am about to be murdered by a god-damned wolf....!! Somebody!! Someone!!"
"Help—" Elsa felt the word die in her mouth, as the wolf, finally pissed off, dived at her.
'so this is how I die?' Her lungs contracted with a deep sense of fear. Eyes automatically snapping shut.
Her fingers digged into the tree's bark as a gush of wind breezd past her neck, freezing her blood, with her nerves stone tensed. And her heart stopped.
One second.....
Two second.....
Three second....
Four.....
'seriously.' Her eyes slowly creaked open. One after the other.
'i should be dead..but why do I feel that I am not?'
Her vision slowly climbed up. From a pair of long legs hiden behind a navy blue, suit pant, up to a well buttoned white sleeve with rolled up sleeve revealing the right amount of arm muscles. Then there was that face.
Sure. It's pretty familiar.
She definitely would have doubted it if they hadn't had a surprise meeting some minutes ago and he wasn't wearing exactly the same thing when they met.
'Alexander??'
His eyes glanced down at her and Elsa could swear she saw a flicker of red in them, then he turned back to the big wolf who was groaning miserably on the ground.
'Exactly what did I miss..?' Elsa's brow knitted tightly.
As if hesitating, the big wolf growled a few times at them and Elsa could slightly feel it's fear for him.
Although she didn't know why, she quietly moved behind his muscular form, then peeked a head out from the umbrella of his shoulder.
There was no way she was missing the show for a second time.
As if finally settling on a decision, the wolf threw all caution the the wind. Aiming right at Alexander.
"Oh my God.....oh my God...." Elsa barely had time to close her eyes when another wolf jumped out of a bush, slamming right into the first.
'The fuck in hell is going on?' Elsa gulped uncomfortably.
"Don't move." An alluring muscular voice fluttered into her ear and she looked up just in time to see Alexander move.
Three new wolves attacked him from all side.
'what are you doing?'
"Fucking run idiot." Elsa heart jumped, and without thinking she threw herself on him. Knocking them both to the ground.
"I said not to move." Alexander's unhurried voice had her taking a deep breath.
His arm wrapped around her waist, causing a burst in tingles. Then his other hand struck right into the head of the nearest wolf.
Crack. It split open, causing a splash of red blood with pieces of brain matters and the body dropped dead on the floor.
Alexander handled the other two equally easily. This time aiming at their necks.
And at the end of the short fight, Elsa had her eyes wide open as she stared at him.
A monster.
His eyes were a deep shade of red, and on his perfect face was signs of blood from his kills. Elsa took a large gulp of breath as his gaze danced over to her. A cold shudder running down the back of her spine. She debated between running away or just staying. Deciding in the end it was better to stay. 'what if i meet another crazed wolf again? Nah.... I will pass.' ★★★★★★★★★ Alexander stared at his timid looking wife who had patches of bandages all over her face and felt his heart melt. She sat quietly on the bed. The doctor said her injuries were mainly skin breaks and would heal in a few days. She looked just like when they had just gotten married. Gentle and with a hair of elegance. That's until he heard her cussing his ass in the next room just after some days. All thanks to his sensitive werewolf hearing he found out his wife was hiding something from him. She had managed to runaway once. There was no way he would repeat the same mistake. "Do you just punch hard.
Elsa listened attentively to Daxton as she munch on a box of pizza. Nodding every now and then to the interesting stories he was relating. For the less than ten minutes she has spent with the group she had managed to deduce that the lady was Alexander's sister, Jay, who she has only meet one, (during their court marriage). The other two, Dayton and Daxton are identical twins. Like head to toe and all. It really was frightening. And the most important of all, is that Daxton is a blabber mouth. He literally knows about everything. It gave her the feeling of those old ladies in the neighborhood who would hold a tea party on Saturdays, to gossip. Terrifying."So you are trying to say I am— your Luna..... The female Alpha of your wolf pack.....or sort of?" Elsa felt a bit uncomfortable as she asked."Yes." Daxton nodded with a big smile which has been on his face ever since she had walked in. She wondered how he manages to hold it up for so long."But isn't the Luna supposed to be his mat
"Will you really not think about it?" Alexander popped a brow. "I am offering you everything."Elsa throat bulged at his last word."You should think about it." Alexander said. "like I said, we will leave by nine.""I don't think there's anything there to think about." She lied. Downing a cup of water. "You can leave when ever you want. I don't care.""Also I have to go to the company." She added a little later. "I have a whole lot of work to attend to.""It's dangerous." Alexander frowned."I have work." Elsa restated."I will go with her." Jay volunteered.Elsa raised a brow, feeling there was no need for it.But then with a second thought. Maybe it was needed."Don't worry I will keep her safe brother." Jay added at a glance of Alexander's unchanging face.Elsa scowled as he nodded. "Okay."'he really thinks I need his opinion, doesn't he?"'All I want is a car and a map to where I am.'———————'Maybe it was a bad idea coming to work' Elsa massaged her temples after a ass-long boar
She slowly looked back up, the guy in the middle flashing her a knowing smirk. 'what the..!!' The possibility revolved in her head, then it clicked. Rogues. Damn it. Elsa slammed the door shut. Thanking the heaven's for the electronic lock. She had barely breath out a sigh of relief when the door shook violently. "Open it. We will have to take care of this quickly." Elsa recognized the voice as that of the first guy in the middle. "Fuck me." She cursed. 'they are going to break the door!!' She shove a hand into her purse for her phone only to realize that she had lost it the day before. Damn it. She really shouldn't have run away from Jay. Elsa regretted deeply. She contemplated on using the telephone. But thinking about it, the door won't hold for long. Instead she made a run for the kitchen, escaping through the back door. Her legs buckled at a loud growl, which was immediately followed by a crash. Her already bruised knees hit the hard cement, and she let out a muffled
'lights.....lights.....why is there so much lights?' Elsa rolled on her side to avoid the sun rays streaming in from the window, only to fall off the bed. The sudden crash woke up Jay who was sitting down next to her. "Damn it—fucking moping ass." Elsa squirmed on the ground in deep pain. "Luna Elsa." Jay looked shock at the sight, her once sleeping eyes now alert as she scanned the room for any possible dangers. "Hey. Good morning." Elsa gaze took a quick browse at her surroundings. Well aware of where she was at the moment. New Orleans. 'That damned motherfucker....' "Where is Alexander?" She asked, retaining her calmness. "He.....had some important things to attend to." "How could he leave without waiting for me to wake up first?" Elsa fumed. 'Does he even knows how to woo a woman?" "The Alpha was the one who took care of you while you were asleep." Jay said. 'when I was asleep?' The words didn't seem to sit well with Elsa. "For how long was I asleep?" She asked, sitti
Elsa zoomed in on Alexander as he down a cup of water. One after the other. The movement of his fair adam apple was extremely eye catching, making Elsa have vile thoughts that she wasn't supposed to have. She shook her head out of the gutters, then focused her gaze on him once more. 'Exactly what is wrong with me?' She narrowed her eyes dangerously. 'He couldn't have fed me a love potion when I was asleep, could he?' 'that could be true.' Elsa nodded at her deductions. "If werewolf exits, then so do witches. And if witches does exits then acquiring a love potion won't be a problem." "What are you talking about?" Elsa jumped up when she noticed that Alexander was now in front of her. A brow lifted as he asked. "What do you need a love potion for?" "Nothing." Elsa gave a quick reply. Flustered at the fact that she had spoken her last thoughts out loud. 'but then it's not like I owe him any explanation?' Instead, she turned the conversation back to him. "Don't you have anything to
Elsa felt the freezing night breeze smacked my face as she step out of the taxi. She poke her head into the taxi to pay the fee, but the taxi guy waved her off with a smile. "I can see you are troubled miss. I hope this favour of mine brings you luck." Elsa was a little surprised, a smile spreading on her lips. "Thank you very much." "You are welcome." The man replied. "We all need a little help sometimes. A smile can save a life you know? If we all could understand this, the world would beome better place." "True." Elsa nodded thoughtfully. Giving him a wave as he drove off. She straighten her back, dragging her luggage behind her as she walked into the airport. There was this itchy feeling that someone was watching her. Stalking her. And it wasn't friendly. Unfortunately the flight was delayed and she had to wait for some minutes more. She scratched on the back of her palm, something she only does when she is anxious. The stare was still there. It made her very uncomfortab
Alexander followed her eyes, and for once in a long time he became nervous. He was a beast. He knew it. But that side of him was something he desperately wants to hide from her. He could feel her questionly state on him. "You did this." But that wasn't a question. Unfortunately it was impossible to guess the mind of the women in front of him. Her nose scrunched up, eyes twitching a little. "Do we have to bury the body or something? Will we get in trouble?—" Her eyes glance around the ceilings as it cheating for any security cameras. "What if someone finds out?" Alexander was stunned slowly his lips curled into a smile. Guess he was worried for nothing. ★★★★★★★★ Elsa glanced at Alexander's side profile as he drove. A soft sigh escaping her lips at the chaotic thoughts raging in her head. "You followed me didn't you?" The slight quip of his lips was more than enough as an answer. "Where did you stay?" She asked. "A nearby hotel." He replied. "You knew I was going to fly out.
