Erica]She let out a muffled groan in the pillow. The hotel room was doused in darkness. After re-emerging from the forest, she saw how everyone was awaiting their arrival. Her parents were looking anxious but when they saw her, their expression turned relaxed. Xavier's parents looked more like they were there because they had to while Queen Jade raised a knowing eyebrow at both of them. [Elias]"What? Why?" Erica asked him, perplexed. Elias' lips thinned. He wanted to withhold the information for a little longer. But the stakes were high now and Erica had to be alert and aware. [Erica]"So...you got to know something before I tell you my whereabouts," Erica began nervously. Drake was still in the dark about her identity. "You didn't have to do this," Xavier had said gently. "You know, it seems like you are more nervous to meet them than you were when you met my parents," he chuckled.
