ALPHA AXEL'S POV

As I looked into Racheal's eyes, it held an allure that seemed to draw you into their depths, our faces were inches apart, our breaths mingling in the air. The connection between us had grown rapidly over the past couple of days, fueled by an undeniable attraction. My wolf, restless within him, longed for Rachel's touch.

Just as our lips were about to meet, the door swung open with a force that startled them both. Athena burst into the room unannounced. Her eyes widened at the sight before her, a mix of surprise and annoyance etched across her face.

"Why can't you knock, Athena?" I snapped with my voice laced with irritation. "Privacy is a concept you should familiarize yourself with."

Athena rolled her eyes, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "Oh, I'm sorry, Alpha Axel. I didn't realize I needed an engraved invitation to check up on you. Next time, maybe you should lock the door."

I narrowed my eyes, my patience wearing thin. "I don't need you checking up on me, Athena.
