I turn to look at Reid immediately, my heart beating against my chest.

“What happened? Are my kids alright?” I ask quickly as I approach him.

“They’re fine. Adrien just got into a fight with his classmate,” he sighs.

“What?!” I exclaim in shock. It has to be a misunderstanding. My boy is so sweet that it is unbelievable he got into a fight with his classmate. I turn to look at Kieran. “We have to go. Now.”

“Stay here. I’ll settle it,” he says as he begins to walk away.

“No. I am going with you,” I say as I quickly follow him.

“I said stay. I’ll handle it,” he groans.

“He is my son. So, do not ask me to stay back. I am going with you. Period,” I groan out. I am not even going to back down.

He shakes his head and sighs. Without another word, he continues walking, and I follow him.

When we get to the school, we are led to the headmaster’s office. I spot Adrien and Aria sitting on the couch in the office, and I run to them.
