RAVEN POV

“I'm sorry. I didn't mean to come off at you that way, my lady.”

We were relaxed once more, on the couch.

The space was better, unlike moments ago when I could feel the tension in the room.

“When do you plan on leaving?” Switching on the television, I asked before picking up my phone. “I need to phone Logan and let him know I got the package.”

“Yes. I'll leave in an hour.”

“Hello, Logan,” a smile pulled on my face. “How are you today? Thank you for the food, I got the package. Wasn't expecting it either.”

“Oh, Raven,” from the other end, he called. “You know you don't have to do that. I care so much about you and I thought you'd be hungry so I sent that. I hope you like it too.” He said and I nodded, replying as though he was in the living room with me.

“Yes, I'm fine. I love them.”
