Raven's POV

I watched Lila leave through the window, I let out a deep breath of exhaustion with my shoulder slumping with the building tension, sinking to the sofa closer to me the second she drove off, my ears itched noting the apartment returning to its usual silence clinging to it like a heavy fog as though it was holding its breath the moment she walked in.

Logan stretched his legs closer and placed his hands gently on my shoulder, I tilted my neck looking at him as he just gave me a nod making my breath return back to normal.

The tension growing in my body had reduced and luckily Logan was the only one who knew how to make me calm, my head began to spin as I rested on the sofa.

The pressure behind my eyes began to ease. I rested my head back, the sofa absorbing the weight of my exhausted body.

For the first time since she knocked, I let myself breathe normal, and not like she was still going to copy the air into her life.
