Kalan's P.O.V
I have been listening to my mother insulting Adeena for almost an hour, I don't know how she found out what happened but she did. All she's been telling me is to get rid of her, I try not to disrespect my Mom, but sometimes she doesn't know when to quit.
"I bet if she knew just who she was insulting, she would shut up" Isaac snorts.
"That's why I don't bother saying anything, let her dig her own grave and later she will be the one to lay in it" I respond watching as my Mom and Valerie started to argue about her choice of words and her ridiculous statements.
"I might have some bad news" Isaac says so casually, making me look at him with a raised eyebrow. "Yeah, our little prisoner died"

Adeena's P.O.V"Why is this place so full of life?" I ask Isaac once we arrived to the pack house in the Crescent Moon pack."No idea, honestly the Alpha is way more preferred here" he answers with a shrug.I take his answer with a nod, we arrived at the pack in just four hours, I was not expecting the place to be so full of life and laughter. Everyone we had driven by was overjoyed to see Kalan, even if they couldn't see inside the car as I was informed earlier. Kalan's P.O.VThe rain continues to shower down, trapping us inside the house for just a few hours. I woke up to the light patters on the roof and didn't think much of it, then Adeena woken up and showers came down, literally just as she woke up it started raining harder.It made some sense, she woke up in a very irritated mood, she was meaner than usual. Kalan's P.O.VMy alarm finally starts going off, I've been laying here wide awake just waiting for it. I don't have anything important planned for the day, I can just stay with Adeena, we'll be home alone anyway.I turn the alarm off and sat up in bed, rubbing my eyes to rid the tiredness.
