Chapter 31

Kalan's P.O.V

My alarm finally starts going off, I've been laying here wide awake just waiting for it. I don't have anything important planned for the day, I can just stay with Adeena, we'll be home alone anyway.

I turn the alarm off and sat up in bed, rubbing my eyes to rid the tiredness. Ever since yesterday I've felt drained, as before there was a pull on my emotions, Adeena was the only reason I felt this way, she hasn't even woken up since she fell asleep on me.

Now she was sound asleep on my pillow, we shared one pillow, I couldn't move her away from me in fear she might wake up, I was actually more comfortable than tired when laying so close to her.

'Kal, are you up?'

Confused, I turn to look at Adeena, she was still sleeping. How is she mind linking me when she's asleep and how did she know how to do that?.

'I'm up, what's wrong?'

'I'm hungry'

"Really Adeena, you couldn't open your eyes to tell me that?" I ask in disbelief.
