I watched as my mom processed the words she heard just now.

I never knew how much the denial of our existence from Alpha Deren hurt her, but it should have been clear from the start. She may be a human but werewolf blood still runs in her vains, the need to be accepted and be near a pack runs through her vains.

She still longs for an Alphas attention as much as we all do.

" Mom you should convince dad" I interrupt their talk.

" Why should I convince him, he would be happy" she says.

" He wasn't. He said he just couldn't leave, said something about ehm .. if I would be in his place would I have joined back a pack that demanded to kill my mate and child, and something about how week and gutless he is for going back to the people that were hostile towards his family and how he seems to not be able to leave " James trys to recreate their conversation.
