Chapter 18.

AMBER’S POV

I moved my arm around the bed, tapping and tapping to feel where the alpha was.

I turned my head to the other side of the bed. “It seems that he has already left.”

I squinted my eyes and went back to sleep. Before I had gone back to sleep, the doorbell rang.

“Who the hell is that!?” I grunted.

“It’s me, Hannah,” She replied from behind the door.

Argh! Why does she have to come visit me so early in the morning? Doesn’t she have anything better to do than disturb me, I thought.

“Should I come in or you want me to go back?” Hannah asked.

Her query annoyed me more than her profound knocking but I didn’t want her to leave.

“Come on in, Hannah,” I reluctantly said and rose up from the bed. I rested on the bedrest on the bed and sighed lightly. I placed my hand on my forehead and groaned painfully.

“Good morning, your majesty,” Hannah greeted.

“G-Good morning, Hannah,” I growled in pain.
