Damian stared at his sleeping fiancée whose arm was wrapped around his waist. He looked at the time and saw that it was 6 in the morning. Damian carefully removed Amelia's arm before standing up. He fixed the comforter on Amelia before silently leaving the bedroom. As he walks towards his study, he opens his phone and called his secretary."Yes, sir?" His secretary immediately answered."Updates?" Damian sat at the swivel chair in front of his desk. His brows were slightly pressed together as it became a habit for him every time he concentrates. The door of his office slowly opened and Haris quietly walked towards him, not making any unnecessary noises. Ivote stood in front of a gravestone at their private cemetery holding a single piece of red rose, her daughter's favorite flower. He laid it in front of the gravestone before kneeling down on one knee. It was an action he wasn't used to doing but for his daughter, he could do anything."Hey, sweetie. Did you miss me? I'm sorry that I couldn't visit you every day" Ivote started talking. He had a sad smile directed to his daughter whose cold body lies 6 feet under."My sweet princess. You must be lonely, laying there all by yourself. Don't worry my sweet Liv. I'll join you soon, ok? Wait for daddy" Ivote continued talking.He bent even lower, kissing his daughter's gravestone. It was cold and hard, it felt almost as if he were kissing his daughter's dead body. His secretary's eyes widened at his actions. The president of their company just kissed the gravestone of his daughter. Who would believe that Ivote, would so easily kiss a gravestone as if it was nothing.

Damian woke up early. He had a planned date with Amelia today. He looks to his side and smiled at the sight of Amelia peacefully sleeping. He sighs lovingly before giving her a kiss on her cheek.Amelia woke up after feeling the empty space beside her. She rubs her eyes as she slowly sat up. Even sitting was now harder for her as her stomach continues growing.Damian peeks from the bathroom with a towel in his hand. He walks over to his fiance who had just woken up and gives her a kiss on her forehead before placing a kiss on her stomach. Amelia and Damian had both left the store. They went to a bunch of boutiques and bought clothes and accessories for Amelia. Amelia had wanted to refuse Damian but he didn't give her a single chance to talk so she had no choice but to obey.In return, Amelia had requested a favor from Damian in return for buying her so many things. Amelia had requested for them to sit at a bench at a park while eating ice cream. Of course, Damian gladly accepted it with a warm smile because of his fiancee's cute request.The two are now sitting at a park with ice cream in their hands. Amelia chose her most favorite, strawberry while Damian who originally doesn't enjoy sweets was holding a cone with vanilla-flavored ice cream on it.Amelia was already feeling content with just the two of them at the park eating ice cream. Damian and Amelia had both left the park and was now walking towards their car with their hands intertwined together. Just when he was about to open the door, a man pulled Amelia away from him and was about to pull a pocketknife but Damian swiftly kicked the man on his stomach that made him drop to his knees.The undercover guards immediately acted fast and ran towards them to keep the unknown man from escaping. Amelia was in shock and took a few seconds before she was able to process what happened. She looks at Damian with a confused gaze. Damian looks at Amelia and noticed her shoulders trembling but it seems as though Amelia hadn't realized it yet. He pulls Amelia towards her and embraces her tightly, making her feel secured and protected. He then, gently caressed her head as he comforts her with his words."It's okay. Everything's okay. Damian ended the call and places the phone on top of his desk. He looks at Alfred who was hanging Damian's coat on his closet."Alfred, from now on, I want Iago to follow Amelia wherever she goes inside the mansion" Damian ordered with a firm tone."As you wish, sire" Alfred answered. He also felt incredibly worried about his young madam. After Amelia had been attacked, the whole mansion was in chaos and the servants were all very worried for her."And also" Damian added.
