Chapter 53

Charlie went back to the mansion with a sullen look on his face. He felt something heavy on his chest as he thought about betraying the man who helped him in his dark days. He sighs as he looks in front of him while walking back to the mansion. After a few minutes of walking, he finally reaches the gate of the mansion wherein he finds Helga, the head maid who was also on a day off that day. 

“Coming back from your job interview?” Helga asked while opening the gate.

“Ah, yes” Charlie replied in a quiet voice.

“What’s wrong? It didn’t go well?” Helga asked after noticing the look on Charlie’s face.
