I moved aside to give Andy some space to come forward.

“Dad!” he didn’t smile shock was still there.

“Are you not happy to see me?”

He blinked as if coming back to reality, “Of course I am,” he smiled, “Come in”

“Who is it?” Ed asked.

“Long time no see Eddie boy”

“Mr. Smith” Ed let out his charming smile and hugged him.

I’m sorry, wasn’t Andy his son? Andy and Mr. Smith were supposed to meet like the way he and Ed were meeting and hugging and smiling. “It’s good to see you after all these years, Mr. Smith”

I glanced at Andy. Baffled, he stood still. I felt bad for him. Tip toeing my way to his side, I rubbed his back as a gesture of saying, ‘It will be fine” There is nothing wrong in being optimistic.
