SOMEWHERE IN THE CITY
"What's the plan now, boss?" A man in black suit asked his boss who was sitting in front of him, in darkness, with a lot of seriousness.
"The plan was always the destruction of the Watson's, Jonah. It's never going to change until it's done." The man in the dark said to his employee, Jonah who nodded at him with a serious look on his face.
"Yes, boss and their destruction is already knocking on their door." Jonah said with a confident smirk on his face which impressed his boss.
"Where is 'he', Jonah?" The man asked after a few seconds, noticing that someone really important was missing from the meeting.
"He had a late night meeting for his personal business, he should be here soon." As soon as Jonah was done explaining, there was a knock on the door and a voice came from the other side of the room.
"May I come in, boss?" A man in the same suit as Jonah said and got inside the room, without even waiting for the permission which made both the 'boss' and Jonah roll their eyes at him.
"Here comes my right hand." The man from the dark said and smirked at the new man. "How many times do I have to tell you to come in after getting my permission?" He asked with an angry tone which didn't quite work on the person.
"How many times did I disappoint you in that thing and you are still expecting?" The supposed 'right hand' said in a casual tone throwing a smirk at Jonah who could only shake his head at him.
In this world, every person in power has a right hand and a left hand as his or her most trusted persons whom he or she can believe with eyes closed. And those two men in black suits were the most trusted men for the men in the dark who was their boss.
The man who just entered was his 'right hand' and Jonah was his 'left hand'. After all he has been through, he can trust both of them with everything because they were with him in everything he has been through. These two will play a huge role in the revenge he is seeking. They will help him accomplish the target.
The destruction of the Watson's.
"I have good news for you, boss." His 'right hand' spoke up which again brought him out of the thought he was in.
"I love it when you bring me good news." He said with a sick smirk. "What is it?" He asked.
"Nothing much, I just used my charm and waved my credit card a little and a fish willingly got hooked on my fishing rod." The 'right hand' said with a smirk.
It was indeed good news. It made him happy and accomplished. He felt like he was one step closer to his motive.
"Wait for my next order. You both can go now. I want to stay alone." He dismissed both his employees before leaning back on the leather chair he was sitting on and closed his eyes.
No one dared to disturb him after that and both of them walked out of the dark room without making another sound.
He looked outside the window of the dark room from where the moonlight was coming. He looked directly into the moon.
"Why are you shining so brightly today? Why can't you be dark like that day when I needed you so much? What are you celebrating?" He asked before closing his eyes and getting lost in the past again.
He will take his revenge. Nothing can stop him now with all the progress he made. He was sure of that.
If only he knew that it's all going to change.

THE DATE
"What the hell! I can't believe she did this without asking me!" Sarah exclaimed in frustration as she slumped on the chair of the restaurant which her grandmother booked for the so-called date.
Elijah looked up at her slowly. She was looking beautiful as always and like always, her beauty was adored with frustration toward everyone around her. She was in an office suit, meaning she came here directly from the office, giving her a professional look.
Her face was adorned with a frown, indicating how frustrated she was about the whole situation. He was already expecting this kind of reaction from her though. Who wouldn't be frustrated if someone fixes a date for him or her with someone whom they were forcefully married to?
"Good evening, Miss Sarah. I am sorry that you have to be in such an uncomfortable situation for me." He apologized in a small tone while looking at his hands which were on the table.
Sarah looked at him with a small frown. He was wearing a new set of the uniform suit that he was wearing the previous day. She started to dislike that suit.
"You knew about this date already?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.
"No, Miss. I was suddenly informed, just like you were." He answered without missing any beat which made Sarah believe him.
"Okay, whatever. I am not really interested in this damn date as I have more things to do. So, I will take your leave and you should leave too after sometime. I will just bribe the restaurant people and everything will be fine." Sarah said with a small shrug of her shoulders and was going to get up to leave when he suddenly reacted and held her hand which was on the table to stop her from leaving.
Both of their eyes widened at his sudden action as they looked at each other in shock, unable to understand what just happened. Sarah looked down at the table where his hand was holding her hand and she felt something weird deep down her stomach and her heart did a flip.
Unable to bear the internal pressure of his hand over hers, she pulled back the hand and leaned back on the chair. They both looked away from each other to take a moment to settle down. Sarah came out of it first and cleared her throat before looking at him with a frown.
"Why did you do that?" She asked.
"I… I am sorry, Miss Sarah but I don't think it will be appropriate to leave now." He said while looking down. Her frown deepened after hearing him.
"Why?"
"Your grandmother… She has her people's eyes around here to see if you are cooperating or not." He answered and her eyes widened in shock before frustration took over once again.
"Great! Just great! So, what do we do now?" She asked in frustration while breathing deeply to control her rage. She was feeling so caged.
"Uhh… how about having a dance with me?" He stood up from the chair and forwarded his hand for her to hold for a dance and there her heart did it again.
It flipped.
Leave me reviews and gems!
TWO DAYS LATER "Hey, you! Come here!" A really arrogant girl in her early twenty called Elijah who was standing almost ten steps away from her, beside her oldie grandmother's luxurious car. She is Samantha Watson, another hire of the Watson family. She is young and beautiful but most of the beauty is artificial on her face as starting from the eyelashes to her teeth, they are all fake. From the look of her, it looks like she had done her lip and nose job quite a few times at this age. She was wearing a tight short dress while her dyed blonde hair was left open. She was wearing sunglasses which is why her eyes weren't visible and she was continuously fanning herself as the sun was shining hot. Samantha is a model, a Victoria secret model to be exact. She was in the Maldives for her shoot for the past two months. She has heard a lot about this handsome man standing in front of her from her cousin sister, Natash
"Look, who just walked in?" Samantha asked with crossed hands and an arrogant look on her face the moment Sarah and Jordan walked inside the living room of the Watson mansion. "Oh, you are talking about 'the walking bad luck'?" Natasha added after her and they both started to laugh together while sharing a high five. Sarah rolled her eyes at them. They both are older in age than her yet they behave like some freaking high school mean teenage girls. She ignored them and was going to walk past them when Natasha put her leg in her way to make her trip. Sarah wasn't looking and the moment she was going to walk past Natasha, she tripped on Natasha's leg and lost her balance. She was going to fall down and kiss the ground when Jordan got a hold of her waist at the right moment and saved her by pulling her up. "Are you alright?" He asked in a worried tone while still holding her by the waist.
"Everyone take your seats." She ordered in an authoritative tone which no one can disobey. The living room was divided into four sections. Three of them for three families and one for Helena Watson. Helena walked toward the lavish single couch which was specially made and designed for her only. Everyone sat down. Sarah was sitting beside her mother while her mother was sitting between her and her father. Helena gave all of them a small nod before starting the meeting. "So, almost all of us know why we all gathered here today. Yet I would like to address the issue again." She started saying. Sarah fisted her hands and gritted her teeth when such an important topic of her life was being subjected as 'an issue'. "It's about the news of Sarah's marriage!" "The heck is it about?!" Jordan shrieked out as soon as he heard He
"That's insane, grandma! Are you in the right state of your mind? How can you even think of something like this?!" Jordan exclaimed in frustration while looking at everyone in disbelief. Apart from him, no one said anything nor did they protest which frustrated him even more. "Jordan, calm down. It's our matter. Let us handle this." Sarah said with a lot of difficulty while looking down. Jordan scoffed at her after hearing her. He knew that she wasn't happy at all with all the things happening but like the good daughter and sacrificer she is, she didn't say a word against it or for her defence. He looked at her parents. "Uncle John? At least you say something? How did you keep quiet after hearing something like this and even agreed to it?! It's so unfair! Here your only daughter is married to a driver? Didn't you think she deserves much more than that? Also, why only her? Why not Samantha or Natas
"Yes, Mary? What's the status?" Sarah asked while walking toward her car after she walked out of the mansion. Mary is her secretary, also her best friend. They aren't friends from college days or anything because Sarah didn't have time to make friends or socialize. She was well known as the nerd throughout her high school and college days. But puberty hit hard when she raised beautifully as well as successfully and all those who called her names felt an invisible slap on their faces. Whatever she and Mary met when Sarah badly needed a hard-working and dedicated secretary and Mary needed a sincere and 'reasonable' boss. At last, they both were the perfect match for each other and they clicked immediately. Them being of the same age also helped a lot. Apart from boss and secretary or friends, they also fulfilled their duties toward each other as great advisors. At this moment, Sarah could use some of her advice right now.
The Next Day "Hello, ma'am. How can I come to your service today?" Elijah asked as he stood in front of Helena Watson with his head down. "Oh, Elijah. Did you come? Good. Come and have a seat!" Helena invited her into his office while he stood in front of the table with an obedient look on his face. "It's fine, ma'am Helena, I prefer standing in front of you." He replied which made Helena smirk to herself in pride because of the respect she is getting from him. Helena Watson is a woman of pride. She likes to be the centre of attraction. She always wants the spotlight on her only but obviously in positive ways. So, she likes it when someone praises her, butter her, respect her, and be submissive in front of her. It gives fire to her ego. "As you prefer." Helena nodded at her and gave him a small nod. His head was held up but he wasn't looking in her eye
"I really appreciate you coming on time." Sarah said while looking away from him as she couldn't find anything else to say. It's been more than five minutes since he entered the room. But none of them said a single word yet. Elijah kept standing by the door with an emotionless e
"To clear things off?" "Yes." She answered with a nod and sat up straight. She sat properly while facing him and smiled at me. "You thought exactly what I thought you would think about me." She said with a small chuckle. Elijah was confused would be an understatement. He was more than that. He was feeling offensive seeing her casual attitude. He thought her to be like every other rich and spoiled girl. He thought her to be like a 'true Watson'. But was she here to prove him wrong? "You know what? I actually thought a lot from the time I heard the news of… you know, Helena's wish, I thought a lot. I thought of what's happening in my life. I was angry when we got married. I thought the right of choosing my life partner was taken away from me. I felt like my freedom was taken away and I blamed you for it initially but never for once I thought low of you because of your professi
