Chapter 24

“How did you do that?” she said shaking her head. “I thought you wanted me dead?” she said looking at him.

“No I wanted Marcus dead; you weren’t supposed to be able to be taken.” He said shaking his head “I want you to come back to my house, I promise things will be very clear for you.” He said extending his hand. “I promise there are no strings attached.”

Anabel wasn’t sure if she wanted to take it, but she didn’t really see a reason not to. He was the only one that came other then Samuel. “So are you going to hurt Marcus?” she said before she thought about taking his hand.

“No not anymore, his debt has been paid.” He said shaking his hand. “I will even allow him to come to you and see you, and if you decide you want to leave with him I will not stop you.” He said half smiling. “All you have to do is take my hand and everything will become clear for you, you won’t have any more questions or insecurities.”
