Chapter 6

The bathroom door opened, and Anabel used the towel to dry her hair, and she almost jumped out of her skin when she saw Marcus sitting there. “Um hi?” she said narrowing her eyes. “I didn’t know you were waiting for me.”

“Don’t worry I wasn’t waiting long.” He lied. “I wanted to talk to you about what you remember before we meant in the cave.”

Anabel thought about it for a moment, she could make up stories to make him happy, but truly she didn’t remember anything. “I don’t remember anything.” She said shaking her head.

“You don’t remember the Heaven vs. Hell war? Or the rituals?” he said waiting for her to start screaming at him because she remembered what he did to her.

Anabel thought about it for a few more minutes, “no I don’t remember anything, rituals what’s that?” she said almost jumping on the bed. “There was a war I was in?” she said shaking her head.

“Well never mind.” He said shaking his head. “I told you a story about all of this before you ran away and lost your memory.” H
