Remainder, "The Year 2005"
ELEANOR'S POV
We were on our way home. I was enjoying the night air hitting my face as the car was moving fast. The sky, dark and cloudy from which the moon peeks down at me.
When I was young, I used to think, the moon loves me and follows me, whenever I am outside. So, I used to sit on the balcony of my window and talk to the moon for a long time.
I still do that, It's like a habit. But now I know this beautiful piece of the moon is not living but a stone. A beautiful stone indeed.
Soon, we reached home. Uncle Joseph got out first and opened the door for me. He always does that whenever he is travelling with me.
As I moved towards the main door, I saw a shadow of a man standing there. I immediately recognised him, and I knew I was going to end up with a lecture from him. My Dad.
He worries too much about me. I love him, and he loves me more than anything. He is always so sweet and warm. But right now, I know he must be angry.
"Eleanor Plum Vitale! Did you see the time?" He asked.
"No," I replied innocently. I had not seen the time. So, I took out my flip phone and checked the time. It was 1 AM. Oh shit!
I forced an innocent smile and puppy eyes.
"...Dad, I am sorry!"
"No sorry, This is not the first time you have done this Eleanor!" He said. He was angry.
I pull at his arm and look at him with the puppy eyes that always work, pulling him to walk back into the home.
"This time, It wasn't intentional," I said to him, "My tyre flattened midway I was driving home, and there was no one in sight,"
"Yes, Yes, Joseph filled me up on it," He said passively, "But then again, I asked you to take the Guards every time you go out, But you didn't listen, You sneaked out without letting anyone notice,"
"It was a birthday party Dad, I wouldn't want to hype up the atmosphere with four guards lingering on my back," I didn't want to show up with a bunch of overweight builders, dressed up all scary and hot on my tail. It seemed awkward and uncomfortable. Also, My friends are scared of my Guards.
"They could have stayed outside!" He argued.
"The party was outside," I reasoned.
"They could have stayed in the car," He said.
"No, Dad, It is awkward!" I whined.
He closed his eyes and pressed his hands to his face. Okay, he is actually pissed. I feel bad now. Being the time 1 AM, he must be very worried.
And I completely understand his protectiveness, The fact that Mom died in a car accident when I was very young hadn't settled with him yet. He loved her and still hasn't married. He, sometimes acts like a paranoid, always being overprotective. He doesn't want me hurt.
I pulled at his arm and wrapped my hands around his torso.
"I am back now, Dad, All good and well, Calm down," I reassured him.
"You will again do this, You never listen to me,"
"I will, I promise," I said still wrapped around him like a leech.
"Promise you will never leave the house without the guards," he said.
".....One guard,"
"Eleanor!"
"Dad please, I agreed, Didn't I, But on only one. Hire someone best in his field and we are all good to go," I said, finally releasing him.
"Okay, I'll do something about it," He says.
"Okay, Good. So...Good night Dad," I said and moved towards the stairs.
"Wait, What about dinner,"
"I was at a party, I had dinner!" I told him.
"Love you," I yelled running up the stairs and hearing him laugh.
"Love you too! my baby,"

Changing into my PJs. I sat on my bed, freshly showered.
My thoughts went back to that guy. No doubt he was very handsome. Would I meet him again? Dang, I should have gotten his number. Well, now what?
Of course, I was gonna tell Amy everything that happened.
I grabbed my phone from the charger, It was almost full by now. I turned it on and there were already a couple of messages from her bitching about the party.
I gave her a call.
I filled her with all the details.
"So, we can say he was your knight in black shirt"
"Well, yes!" I replied, smiling like an idiot, "But I don't know if we ever gonna meet again," I scoffed.
She hummed in response.
"Girl, how come he didn't notice me like...he didn't bother to flirt with me or something, not even asked for a number, not even a wink Amy...He wasn't even blind...to justify his behaviour," I ranted.
I was irritated by his attitude, as if I wasn't just there, looking this hot. He didn't even look at me as he should have.
"Well, that's strange," she said, "How come he didn't ask for your number after you acted all bitchy with him, he should have been head over heels for you when you yelled at him," she was clearly being sarcastic.
I rolled my eyes. Yeah right.
"Was he playing hard to get?" I asked.
"Maybe, He was handsome as you quoted, he will be," she replied, "Or probably he is married,"
"WHAT NO!"
"You saw any ring? She asked.
"No!" I said, but I did remember wearing him a ring, "Yes...I don't know, Guess I lost my chance," I said. He had a ring but It didn't look like a wedding ring.
"Yeah, and you acted a bitch with him, girl, No chance there," she stated the facts and I nodded my head. I certainly was.
"Should I g****e him?" I asked.
"You know his NAME?"
"No!" I answered back.
"...then what are you gonna search him with?"
"I'll search saying 'Handsome guy who helped me change a tyre?' What say?"
"Do you think that's gonna work?"
"I don't know let me see,"
I cut the call and opened g****e and searched. Nothing useful showed up.
I texted her it didn't work and we both talked about him for a while.
Soon, I started feeling my eyelids getting heavy and decided to sleep. A long day it was.

The room of dimly lit, with hundreds of boxes piled up on one side of the room, A small staircase on the other side. He walked up the stairs, it was dimly lit, like the whole area. Climbing up, he was welcomed by a metal door, just where the stairs ended.
He slammed it a few times.
"What?" Someone peeked from a bar at the door.
"Reaper," he replied.
"Code?"
He sighed, "2be9nice," He said. He hates this code, another reason to leave this gang as soon as possible.
"Wrong," The person said.
"No, It's not," he replied calmly. This was just a test they like to take when entering people inside.
The door opened with vibration and great noise.
He gets in and the person who opened the door closes it again.
"What's up, Mr Reaper?" He asks.
"Boss?" The Reaper asks ignoring him.
"In there," the man pointed.
They went in through a door. The room was somewhat lit, the faces were clear. A few people sat at a table. A few papers on the table.
"Reaper!" A man, appearing in his mid-forties, sitting at the head of the table, stood up and greeted The Reaper.
"Any news?" The man asked. He was the head of the gang, The Reaper was a part of, name Alexander Norman. A well-known name when comes to drug dealing or weapon smuggling.
Reaper stood by the table near Alexander. His hand in his pocket, as usual, touching the handle of the knife he has there, always ready for attack.
"No," he replied to Alexander. A calm look on the face, but those calculating eyes viewing everything. He knew exactly what he had to do.
"Dang it" Alexander strike his hand on the table.
"Now what?" He asks.
"We attack," said The Reaper, moving his head to the side. He just wanted to end this mission with this clearly coward gang and get away as soon as possible.
"We are not sure, Son, I have a pact sighed right here on my table with that fu.cking cu.nt," Alexander said strictly.
"He violated it, We are just gonna answer back," the Reaper said gritting his teeth. His jaw tightly locked.
"He is right, Alex," said the right-hand man, named Jackson, "We have a clear witness against him, He deserves to be treated the fu.cking right for attacking our base and stealing the fu.cking drugs,"
"Jackson...we are fu.cking weak, then him, we will lose, for sure,"
"Not when we attack the boss directly," Reaper said, his voice resonating the walls.
"How is that?" Asked Alexander.
"We enter their place, disguised,"
Someone from the people scoffed, "As if they won't know," he said.
He got one hand out of his pocket, placing it on the table and bending down towards the man who said this.
"They won't, I know their codes, Every place to get inside without being noticed, from door to his office,"
The guy looked at him for a while, "Great then," he said.
"The only problem is if someone leaks the information for the attack,"
"Who would do that?" The scoffing guy said.
"You!" said the Reaper.
"What?" said Alexander.
"Have you gone insane?" The scoffing guy said.
"No, Not I, but you when you saw that bag of dollars they gave you,"
"Y..You are lying, I don't know what you are talking about,"
Reaper pulled out his old Nokia and made a call.
He talked to the person who introduced himself as a member of the Imperial gang. He provided quite the information on how Richard was ready to leak their information for a few dollars.
Well, The imperial wasn't the only one to buy men.
"Lock him up, He is not to be out or all of you would be killed,"
"We need to proceed with the mission as soon as possible, I cannot lose at any cost now," Alexander was furious.
"I need 2 men, at most, their uniforms and Imperial Ids would arrive tomorrow, We will proceed tomorrow night," Stated The Reaper.
Alexander nodded at his words. He knew whatever Reaper had in mind, must be viable. He still could not understand, what this hunk of a man was doing in their gang, a weak one among many others. But He was loyal and sharp, working with him for two years after he finished his training, A great assassin.
Reaper took his leave and left the building from the same route he came in from. Sitting on his bike, he grabbed the keys from his pocket and put them in.
A memory from yesterday flashed in his mind, when that girl, Eleanor was the name she told, tried to snatch her keys and actually convinced him to change her tyre. Hell, he was convinced. Then again, It was of no use since she left with another car. What surprised him was his encounter with her, Daughter of Arthur Vitale.
The same man, they were talking about upstairs, the man who stupidly decided to bomb the place and steal the drugs, violating the pact he made with the boss of his gang. The man he would be going to attack tomorrow as his job and gave him a taste of Violation, which he loves so much.
'Soon to be his Ex gang,' He thought.
That was why he was on alert last night when he saw their car approaching, But he actually appeared to have met his daughter,
'A character she was,' He thought.
He kicked the Suzuki Hayabusa he had and rode it back home. He was gifted the bike, just launched in 2002, to him when he won the first mission, back in 2003, from his boss, of course, he could not afford it by himself, or this is what he wanted them to think.
Well, he will be going there tomorrow, to fulfil the assignment he is assigned, to probably kill her father, or seize him at least, Being the master in his work, he knew nothing could go wrong, or he expected so.

Hola, My dearest readers. Mysterious isn't it, lets's see what happens next. would he be able to fulfil his plan. Will she ever forgive him for that? who knows if she will ever know. but only me. *Witchy laugh*;-}
well, till next time, Love, love.
The following day. It was almost night, the sun had set and the sky appeared to be more of dark blue then orange. For an asthetic person, it was the time to come out and relax into the sky. But for those who were non asthetic and well were on a mission to kill or abduct didn't had the time to look above and admire the nature's most beautiful creations, like The Reaper, dressed in the same black shirt and jeans with leather boots, that were different from yesterday. He was ascending the same staircase he had yesterday and many times before, and reaches upstairs. He has a blue bag hung on his shoulder and the two guns attached behind his back,in his belt, safely hidden, and a sharp knife hidden somewhere in his charming boots, This man always had a thing for boots, shows that he never goes anywhere unprepared, always on Alert, ready to pounce the moment he feels alert. One can say he had the abilities of a lion. Well, If you believe in Zodiac Signs, He is a Leo. No wonder he is so goo
"So, I have a plan for tonight!" Said Amy, when she finished writing the last page of her assignment. I still have two more to go. I eye her, "...Okay?!" She always has plans for her nights, party, and stuff. Why is she telling us...and looks so excited."No, I am implying that I have a plan for all of us tonight," She says."What exactly?" I ask."Sacred Club," She winks."...Why?" She seems so excited about going there, we go there practically every other day. My Dad owns the place."To drink, And look around," she said wiggling her eyebrows. We all eye her suspiciously. We all practically grew up in that club, Well mostly because it was the safest place other than home according to my Dad, and also it was free, mostly, when we had to hang out, we go there. "Can't join!" I say getting back to writing. "And why is that?" Asked Mae. "Dad's not well...and I don't think I'll have the permission for a late night after last week's meeting incident," Plus, I don't feel like listening t
He had realized that while working in one of the Viale's businesses, he should expect to see her. But he didn't realize it will be this soon and If he is being honest, it was not a meet-up he was looking forward to.The moment she walked into that absurd bar, he recognized her. And to his surprise, she had recognized him as well. He could see it on her face. The amazement! He was entertained at least by her stunned reaction. The girls sat down and were having a chatter. A good friend, he could see they were fair mates, all four of them. He, on the other hand, was a loner, to say the least. No friends, little to no family, but a good amount of enemies. "Excuse me!" He heard and immediately recognized the voice, In his line of work, remembering the minute details of people is just a part of coding his brain is made into, most of which he owes to his photographic memory. And he seems to remember much about her too. He walked to her, ready for a snarky comment from her side, but that ne
After a long night, of the lamp light changing and fading into many different colors, some eating, and turning sides, hunting and a bit of racing the mind horses to find a goal maybe, or just ending this anxiety. She came to a conclusion and decided she needed a hamster. The hamster had nothing to do with the goal or her future, It's just that while searching for a good opportunity to make a name for herself. She came to a picture of a baby hamster in a sock, his big head and tiny hands outside of the sock while his other half tucked in nicely. He was looking to be in the most comfortable of places. And to her the cutest thing she came across. So, She made a mental note to have a pet now. It was time she grew up and raise some babies, such as a baby hamster. This will give her a sense of well-forgotten 'Responsibility'......On her way to the pet shop, she imagined the proud moment of a mother when she would tuck her own hamster into a pink fluffy sock and she will fall asleep wi
Once in the life of every person, good or bad, but mostly good, comes a time when they start to question the superiority of dear humans walking around on this dear earth. Question the benevolence and its meaning to dear humans. And they came out disappointed. This was my moment to be disappointed, and I really was. When I said I was disappointed at humans, this is what I mean. People see a woman being groped by three men, hurting her, and probably will kill her, and instead of even trying to help they run away. No one even thought of calling the police. and if someone did, where are the police? Is humanity doomed? I was contemplating believing the fact that humans are still humans when I saw something, more precisely someone. But was I the one wrong here, asking people to endanger their lives to save mine? The entire hall was almost empty, and I was helpless and hopeless. I felt like a watermelon was shoved down my throat, trying to control the bulging of tears in my eyes. I was fight
He was outside the door, his hand on the handle. He had just knocked on the Door and permission to come in from the other side was given. He took a deal breath, nervousness clearly visible on his face. He finally opened the door and came in."Please sit down Mason," Said Mr. Vitale, and Mason did so sitting in front of Vitale. It was a warm office, giving mature vibes. A big mahogany table like all rich people's offices. One chair behind the table with Arthur sitting on the other side, and two empty chairs on the front on which Mason sat."I will not go into long meaningless conversations," Arthur begins, "As I wanted to know yesterday, You are an assassin, what are you doing in my bar as my bartender?""I left that life behind. I need a long break, from killing people,""You killed three people yesterday, You think you can change who you are?"Mason had the images of three Men in black he had a shoot yesterday to save Eleanor. He still didn't understand why he did that. To save her l
It was a weird ride going to college. But what was weirder was that he wanted to come with me."You cannot come inside," I said when I saw him behind me at the door."I am ordered to," He simply stated looking directly into my eyes. There were people around and were doing what they do, staring. At me, and more precisely at him. And he was looking at my eyes and I was trying not to look into his eyes."You are not allowed in," I whispered spoke so only he could hear."I have a permission letter," Be said, pulling out a document from his jacket and showing me."Permission letter? From who? How?" I asked. All of this was happening right in the middle of the stairs, which were covered with people, all wanting to know what I was doing with him."Your father, he got it from the directors, Not know how,"I opened my mouth and then closed it. I look around for any teacher or staff and then open my mouth again, "If anyone says anything, You are the one responsible," I again whisper said, pulle
After a very awkward lunch, and then an uneasy day at college, which lacked social assurance and grace, It was finally time to go home. It was after a long duration, I was actually looking forward to being locked away in my room for the rest of my day, and doing nothing, rather than leaving the house, which was a constant wish of mine. All so I can have a break from the heebie-jeebies, I had been feeling all day, all thanks to her dad for hiring Mason. He won’t be there with her in her home. Mason was a good guard, she could see that. But not good for her.Maybe she should go back and tell her dad that he just ain’t it and they can go back to the usual overweight team of builders following her car, but staying away from her, and her school.Right now she was heading to her car, ignoring the turning faces and talking mouths, almost all of them directed at her. Mason was right in front. Just as she had stepped at the first stair lowering down, she heard someone call out to her.“Hey!” I
