Chesa and Li Chen's wedding came not long after. Dylan decided to postpone meeting with his family till after the wedding.
According to Chesa's request they had a white wedding in a very big hall. There were a lot of guests that day, filling the hall to the brim.
Anna was the brides maid while both Dylan and Su Chen were still arguing over the best man spot.
30 minutes to the wedding, both brothers were not dressed, still arguing making the groom get extremely frustrated.
"I'm his twin!"
"And I'm way more good looking, stronger....and also that suit will suit me best"
Su Chen gasped, Dylan had hit his weak spot. His only challenge in life was sitting back and watching other girls ogle over Dylan when he is standing right there!
"Will you guys just shut up!" Li Chen said slamming his hand on the table. They had been bickering for months now and today was the wedding. This is all his fault, he should have decided a long ti
Dylan's lips curled up staring at the girl. He was actually afraid that his family won't like her or vise versa. Now she seemed a bit attached to them....or was it the castle?"Would you like to live there after we get married?"Anna stared at Dylan with a smile before shaking her head "Its way to big for someone like me to live in"Dylan shook his head, he spent think a day would come when he would figure out what was going through that woman's mind.He sighed, she was really special while he...."Anna, Are you certain you want to marry me? I'm not the man you think I am....and I...""Are you scared of getting married to me? I'm not a monster you know..." Anna said pouting her lips.Dylan chuckled and decided to let it rest. They loved each other and that was all that mattered."Dylan?""Yes?"Anna sighed ''Can I see Lu Zhang?"Dylan focused his eyes on the road and didn't dare look at her."Why do you want
Dylan stared at his fiancé curiously, despite the fact that she already explained everything to him he was still curious."By...Emotional break down....you mean"Anna sighed and looked at him, her dark green eyes filled with seriousness "I know you're confused....let's just say I know my father way more than he thinks"She felt it was quite unfortunate, that she could relate with a man who had hurt her and so many others…she realized she wasn’t so different from him and sometimes, it scared her.Dylan noticed she didn't want to talk about it anymore so he didn't probe any further. In an attempt to lighten the mood, he carried Anna in his arms making her squeal in surprise "W...what are you doing?!!"Dylan chuckled, "Aren't we supposed to be preparing for our wedding as well?, My brother is already married....I feel quite jealous" He said, a playful smile never leaving his lips. His eyes showed warmth, Anna couldn’t stop staring into
Su Chen stared at the girl who looked at hi with wide eyes, his lips curled as he picked up his car keys "I'm a soldier, despite my very handsome appearance, you think I will do something that illegal?"He asked before patting her head softly "I heard Li Zhang was using something to tie you down am I right?"June looked away and sighed, it was only a matter of time till everyone found out....despite the fact that she had wanted to hide this secret from everyone if she could "How....how did you know? Did Lu Zhang finally speak up?" She asked not daring to make eye contact, even though she didn't want to, she felt quite uncomfortable looking into those eyes of his."Him?....Yes, he did. He said something about you never betraying him....I haven't broken you out jail, you are not allowed anywhere out of this house till we figure everything out. He didn't tell us what he threatened you with so I need you to tell me instead, that way I can see how I can lower your se
Anna sighed for the nth time and looked outside her window...again. "Maybe I was being too impulsive when I quit?" she said to herself before sighing again. She missed the barrettes, she wanted to go back and also...she just hated the idea of going back to school. "I'm getting really lazy these days" Anna laughed before getting up to stretch. She had been sitting for hours, thinking and rethinking her life decisions somewhat. She turned on the TV but switched it off not long after. "OK, I need to get outside...breath some fresh air..." Maybe she was feeling this way because she had been indoors for to long, she thought. Anna decided to take a walk. It was almost winter, the wind was chilly but it made Anna feel better. She smiled slightly as she spotted a bench, she sat down with a sigh before taking out her phone from her pocket. She dialed her sisters' numbers but both seemed to be busy. Nathan wasn't even answering, she coul
Chapter One“Make sure you watch her every move and make sure she's back before 5pm”Anna sighed, hearing the orders her step mother gave to her bodyguards and personal maid, she was already used to the restrictions but it didn’t stop it from hurting, it didn’t stop her from hurting. She wheeled herself to the door and stared at her legs in annoyance, if she could walk she would’ve left, no one would know when or how…or why, they never cared to know about her feelings…it hurt, her whole existence hurt.“And you…” she heard her step mother's voice from behind her, she didn’t bother to turn around though. “Don't try anything stupid”..They were distracted, her personal maid Janet was chatting with her bodyguards, they seemed to have forgotten Anna was there with them…she was used to it.Anna wheeled herself to the main road, it was busy, dangerous and als
Why was she always this hurt? Why couldn’t her life just be like everyone else's story? She choked up as her eyes burned with unshed tears.Tears rolled down her cheek, the memories of her mother came rushing in"Anna just bear with it for now, nothing lasts forever""Anna don't lose faith, don't lose hope""You will walk again I assure you!""I will always be here for you, I promise"Anna's tears fell freely thinking about the empty promises her mother had given. Those promises…she didn’t keep them. Memories of her mother’s death haunted her every single day, her identifying the body…the burial, her last letter. Her mother had committed suicide, thrown herself in a river just to escape a life with her handicapped daughter.Anna clenched the sheets, ''You promised to be here, why?, why have you left?, leaving me to face all of this alone.I can't do it, I miss you.....I really do''She was left all alone, no body to comfort her, no body to love her…h
While the house was bustling with activity even though it was already squeaky clean, a black car with tinted glasses drove in.
