In the silent room, I held his hand tightly to my heart, hoping and praying that he would wake up. That was all I wanted right now.All hell was going to let loose eventually but right now, I would enjoy the calm that came before the storm because that was all that mattered right now.
I felt a twitch so I raised my head immediately and I saw his eyes faltering open. With one quick move, I jumped out of my seat and pressed the nurse's call button.
His hand was moving towards the tube in his mouth but I stopped him before he could touch it.
