“Can we really trust this guy?” Alex grumbles while we follow the drider through the green, woodsy labyrinth.

“I would assume so,” I try not to fall and glance between Alex and the path. “I mean, the drider could easily change back into his terrifying spider form and kill us, but he hasn’t done that, so I would assume he is trustworthy.”

“I am very trustworthy and not deaf,” the drider turns around and glances between us. There is a white fang sticking out of his mouth when he smiles. He reminds me of a vampire with his pale skin and long dark hair. “And my name is Edison. I’m a person, just like the two of you.”

“A person that loves to eat Lycans and werewolves for breakfast...” Alex mutters.
