Chapter 49

“Rise and shine sleeping beauty” Nikolay said kissing my forehead making my nose scrunch as I opened my eyes. My green eyes meeting his blue ones to find him smiling over me knowing that I was exhausted after what we had done today. The morning was very long today, but I loved it, every second of it was lovely, no matter how painful it was, Nikolay made it worth it. The safety I felt in his cradling arms, the love I saw in his eyes. I couldn’t even describe it. No words could, at least I couldn’t think of anything to say about how I felt.

But to say that my body was sore would be an understatement, hell, my body felt like a thousand pounds and I couldn’t bring myself to think of how I was going to lift myself out of this bed. Not that Nikolay minded, he preferred me staying in bed and out of trouble when it came to situations like the ones I was putting myself in lately. Refusing to listen to him about staying home, I wanted to help
