Let's divorce (2)

The taxi man dropped her at the front of the office and she walked out and paid the man, thanking the man.

She was surprised by that too for her humility. But she really have to be humble to live this life.

In her past life, from a top socialite's daughter to someone her parent disowned and husband wanted to divorce. If not because of her arrogance, she should still be able to live in her past life. But she was rude to so many people, and no one helped her when she was down, not like they sent her. She was the cause of all her predicaments.

She walked inside the big company and she was a little amaze at how big the company was. It was not her first time in it, but she was always more concerned about Michael, than she cared about any other things.

No one noticed if anyone entered as she was just too simple, very simple to be noticed. If it was before, everyone would have known it's her, by her grand and iconic entrance. She entered the elevator full of people, and squeeze herself inside it, and some conversations - maybe gossips cannot escaped her ears.

"What Young mistress did yesterday was uncalled for. Why did she have to jumped into a pool, just to see the President? If Assistant Parker had not entered, she would have drowned." A lady in glasses said to her friends.

"If she drown, it's her cup of tea. That's why Mandy will always be better than her. Mandy was President's favorite until madam comes." One of the ladies said.

"Mandy is a good secretary, and an hardworking person. Madam is just too useless. She only knows how to sleep and wake up." Another said and they all laughed.

"I know the reason why boss keep going for Mandy. If it's me too, I will really go for an hardworking and humble person like Mandy, and not a useless clout chaser, and arrogant like madam. Talking about beauty, Mandy is always beautiful with her natural look and madam always look like Zombie. I bet she is ugly without makeup that's why she always apply excess makeup." A young man around them said.

They all laughed and was surprised as they saw a young lady looking at them with a glare. She looked like a young girl sulking, with her big eye balls.

"Hello young girl. Hope you are not lost?" One of the ladies said.

'Young girl?' she thought. Even though she was still only twenty two, these people can't be more older than her with two years. Well she has a small stature that make her look like a teen, but she was still their boss wife.

In her past life, they only mistook her for a young girl, and that reason made her to put on much makeup, and a magnanimous dress, to look older.

She got to the nineteenth floor and got down.

They all were surprised to see her stepping out as them too. They also work in the nineteenth floor and wondered who she is.

"Is she a new worker?" the young man asked as he watched her walked in front of them.

"I doubt that. Her clothes is too simple for a worker." One of the ladies said.

"She has a huge temper. But she is so beautiful." The young man swooned over her.

She walked to the president's office and saw the secretary who smiled at her and asked,

"Hello young miss. Are you here for the president?" She asked. She couldn't help but shivered as she saw this face again. She remembered she killed this delicate lady due to jealousy. She was raped by the drug lord and his goons till she died, and she couldn't help but feel guilty as she stared into her eyes.

"I-I-Yes I am." She said and cleared her throat. How could she still be so scared, she is in front of her alive.

"Do you have an appointment with him?" She asked with a smile and she shook her head slowly.

"No. Just tell him, Mrs Sean sent me to him." She said and could swear she noticed the sneer on her face.

"President Sean said he doesn't want to see anything related to Mrs Sean." She told her politely.

"Tell him it's very important." Bella insisted.

Mandy looked at her with a brief smile and took the telephone and punched some numbers on it.

"Hello sir." She said "A lady said she want to see you. Madam sent her to you." She said and after few seconds, she dropped the call. "He said he doesn't want to see you." She said to Bella who smiled bitterly and walked out of the place. She walked out of the office, and also out of the company. She went to the next cafeteria besides the company and sat down.

In the President's office.

He sat on his swiveled chair while his Assistant entered and showed him his phone.

"President. Madam have be calling since morning. Should I pick?" He said.

"Whatever." He only said,, flipping some files, but Assistant Parker knew better than to pick the call. That really meant his boss is not ready to speak with her.

"She sent a message to me now that you should check your phone." Assistant Parker said to Michael calmly.

Michael only picked his phone and saw the message and his eyes bulged.

'Let's divorce.' it was so simple as that.

If he knew her not better, he would have believed the message, but the Bella he knew will never get divorced. She is too obsessed with him.

Assistant Parker also peeked at the SMS and laughed.

"The madam I know will never divorce and would rather die than to get divorced." He said and Michael smirked.

Bella is still trying to look for his attention when she saw that all she did, was not able to move him or draw him closer.

He dialled her number and she picked immediately.

"Hello." She said but he didn't wait for her to reply and asked:

"You really want a divorce?" He asked.

"Hmm" she nodded and he laughed.

"Where are you now?" He asked and she noticed she was silent for a moment before she replied;

"Trinity cafeteria, beside your company." She said and he nodded.

"Good, wait for me there and let's go to the court." He said standing up, grabbed his briefcase and walked out while his assistant watched him in surprise.

...

She didn't know if to feel happy or sad. She never thought he would agree to the divorce easily and it broke her heart a little to see that he didn't have an ounce of likeness for her.

She set her heart to this divorce and she is going to live her happy life without him, on her own - even without her parents interfering in her life.

She waited for him to come and when she saw his car parked in front of the cafeteria, she paid for the coffee she took and walked out to meet him.

It's definitely going to be a long day.
