Asher's chosen bride

Ivana discovered about the marriage alliance formed by her father, who was in need of an investment to stop his company from going bankrupt.

“Dad, you can't just marry me off to Asher Jackson, I don't love him." Ivana was devastated and yelled out.

“You can't decide who you get to marry." Philips answered, annoyed at her outburst.

“You did not even inform me before taking this decision, what about Anna?” Cassie was awed at the sudden decision.

“You should understand I needed the investment so that my company will not shut down." Philips replied looking frustrated that they could not understand him.

“You know I love Raymond so much. He just proposed to me two weeks ago. Please Dad, I'm sure there is another way to stop this marriage." Ivana responded with tears in her eyes.

“Do you know Raymond's father could not help me when I needed the investment from stopping my company from going bankrupt?” Philip was so furious and complained bitterly.

“You don't have to be selfish, it is for the good of our family. Andrew Jackson only demanded his son Asher to get married to you."

“After all Asher Jackson is a rich billionaire and he is more influential than you settling for Raymond."

Philips fired back, still angry at her outburst.

“Philips let go and meet the Jackson family to accept Anna since Ivana does not want the marriage." Cassie's face was masked with malice, pretending to care for Ivana.

Cassie who was the step mother to Ivana was speaking out for her daughter Anna, because she knows the Jackson's are the top billionaire in the country.

“I don't care, the agreement has been signed and your engagement will hold soon.” Philips retorted back, his voice laced with irritation and anger.

Cassie followed him to his room still trying to convince him so Anna could be the chosen bride to Asher Jackson.

Ivana’s heart pounded in her chest. She felt her palm sweaty as she tried to pick her phone to call Raymond her fiance.

He was not picking his phone, she decided to go to his apartment.

She was deep in thought and felt to see Raymond, and get to explain the situation at hand to him. Maybe he could help beg his dad, Collins, to agree with the investment her father needed.

Ivana drove to his apartment at Rians Estate at night. She was surprised the light was still not switched off in his apartment.

She entered the passcode to his apartment and entered. She saw clothes splattered on the living room.

She heard some noise and was hearing moans on reaching his master room.

She gripped the handle of the door and opened it.

She stood there, shocked and feeling different emotions.

She saw Raymond and Anna her step sister naked together on the bed. Raymond cupped Anna's breast as they were having both engaged having sex.

Anna kept moaning, Ivana heart was shattered, her body trembled at the sight she saw.

“Raymond what is this." Ivana's voice shook at her shoulder slumped down.

Immediately Raymond pushed Anna away. He covered himself with a blanket.

“Did you just push me away because of this eyesore?” Anna hissed, not looking remorseful.

She dressed up and looked disdainfully at Ivana with her shoulder up as she walked out.

Ivana was surprised Anna who she left almost everything to, is having an affair with her fiance.

Ivana's mother died when she was 10 years old. Her mother died of heart disease.

Philips married Cassie after a year her mother died.

Cassie brought in her daughter, Anna who she had from her former husband who died in an accident.

Philips adopted Anna who was a year younger than Ivana.

Ivana endured a lot in the hands of Cassie and Anna. Cassie bought more expensive clothes, shoes, bags for Anna and made sure Ivana was given used things.

Philips was not aware, he thought Cassie treated her well. Ivana never complained to him about all the maltreatment Cassie subjected her to.

Ivana has learned to sacrifice most things for Anna. She never thought she would want be having an affair with her fiance too.

Ivana was still in shock over the betrayal, she never believed Raymond who she loved so much will betray her.

“Ivana please I'm sorry, it's not my fault Anna kept seducing me." Raymond tried to explain, feeling guilty for being caught having an affair with her step sister.

“Don't you dare touch me, I hate you for doing this to me." Ivana felt disgust when he tried holding her down.

“I loved you so much and you still betrayed me, Raymond why?” Ivana questioned him, her eyes tearing up filled with so much sadness.

“You caused it, you never let me touch you. Don't you know I have feelings too." Raymond replied trying to blame her for cheating on her.

“That is not an excuse to cheat on me with Anna. I've always kept myself for you and we decided to do that when we get married." She broke down.

Ivana's voice broke down, she questioned her worth as her countenance fell.

“Let's end this Raymond, I'm done with you and I came to announce to you I'm getting married soon."

Ivana shouted at him, she made up her mind to let him go. She decided to leave his room.

She has been in a relationship with Raymond for 3 years since college. She also works at his Father's company where Raymond is the CEO at Royale company.

She left her father's company to work as his personal assistance because of her love for him. This gave Anna the opportunity to rise as the chairman's daughter.

Raymond looked down his eyes filled with regret. “Please I'm so sorry, give me a chance, don't you love me anymore?” Raymond still persuaded her.

“No I can't do this anymore, I'm getting married to Asher Jackson." She struggled in his hands while walking out of the room.

“I thought I can rely on you to help me but you betrayed me. "She narrated bitterly tearing down.

“Who is the Asher Jackson? Is he richer or better than me?” He asked her.

“You can't get married to anyone except me." He held her firmly and tried kissing her forcefully.

“No leave me....” she continued to struggle in his hands.

Someone barged in and punched Raymond on his face.
