ASHINA’S POV

Everything was ready for me to leave. As the King had instructed, I would leave at dawn.

“You look amazing, Madam,” Susan commented as I came out of my room.

“Thank you, Susan… Please take care of the house while I’m away. This home holds great memories of my childhood.”

As much as I was eager to go on a mission, I was a bit sad leaving my home behind. There was no one else I could trust, except Susan and I was sure she would do a very good job in managing my property and affairs.

“You don’t worry, madam.”

I nodded.

As I drew the sword that used to belong to my father, Susan stared with awe.

“That’s a strong weapon you hold there, madam.”

“Clement gave it to me. It used to be my father’s,” I admired it.

My father’s sword was a masterpiece of both craftsmanship and power, a weapon worthy of a Delta who had carved his name into the annals of war.
