Chapter 12

Mitch's POV

Carrying her bridal style, I kicked my door open and made my way to the queen sized bed that was in the middle of the guest room. Damn! How can a person this small be so heavy?

Gently, I placed her under the smart duvet and pulled out my phone. Tapping on the app, I controlled the temperature of the duvet so it could be warm and comforting. She looked fragile, her cherry red lips complimenting her skin. Her hair was scattered on her face and I must admit, red was very good on this woman.

Reaching a hand to her, I brushed off the hair that was all over her face and lingered my gaze on her facade. She looked so pretty in her sleep. Suddenly, she groaned and scratched her hair.

Instantly, the little pity I felt for her was replaced with anger. How could she speak to me in such a manner? Mitch wasn't the guy that ladies insulted, they worshipped me. Unfortunately, I wasn't the type
