Small steps in the right direction equates to taking big steps. Entering college brought confusions and doubts to me, making it difficult for me to choose the path to take. Dream against practicality. Practicality makes life better in the financial aspect, but nothing beats life where dreams are achieved.

I survived college. The four years of survival chapters finally came to an end. I am grateful for where I am, and I'm excited for where I'm going even when the path is still uncertain.

The graduation anthem echoed in each corner of the room. Our batch will graduate, at last.

I'm happy to graduate, but there's still a missing piece within me. Lahat sila ay mayroong mga kasama. Someone to walk them to the stage. We lost touch since the day of the photoshoot in

"Ang sarap nito! Try niyo, dali." "Come on, try it." I opened my mouth and tried it. It was a grilled buttered shrimp. It's my first time trying grilled shrimp. She did the same to Hailey. "Magkano 'yan? Masarap nga!" Sambit ni Hailey. She was covering her mouth with one hand, but we could hear the amusement in her tone. Sumama

"Uuna na kami sa dagat, Zeidan. Sumunod kayo ni Celeste, ha! We'll make a reservation for tonight's dinner." Narinig kong sambit ng boses ng isang babae. "Kapag hinanap niya kami mamaya, pakisabi hinihintay namin siya. Hihintayin namin kayo sa tabing-dagat." "Kamusta na ba si Celeste?" Pagtatanong dito ng isa pang babae. "We can help in taking care of her. Mayroon ba kaming magagawa?" "She's still sleeping. Don't worry, I'll make sure to inform you once she's awake. She'll be carrying the guilt, for sure." Naring kong sambit ni Zeidan. I was tightly closing my eyes under the blanket. They were talking in minimized voices, but the loudness was enough to wake me up. The air-condition was turned on.

"Kamukha mo 'to, Ismael." Sambit ni Naiah. She couldn't talk properly because of the food in her mouth. "Tapon-ulo kayo pareho." She was raising the shrimp, showing it to the guy friend. The table was filled with laughter and witty jokes. Since it was mid-afternoon when we arrived at our destination, the group decided to take the brunch for the whole-day energy. We chose the restaurant named 'Thirty-Seven Degrees Seafood'. "Eat this, Isla." There were two towers on top of it. The restaurant served our food on a wax-paper table roll instead of plates. "Four seasons."

A loud voice from a woman pulled me out of my deep sleep. "Lower down your voices, please. Hindi pa 'yan nakakapagpahinga." It was Zeidan's voice. There were different voices exchanging words around me. "Zeidan, let them out first. Please." The girls were standing on the edge of the bed when I opened my eyes, while another man was leaning against the wall. I'm not comfortable showing anyone myself yet. She was laughing in between her words. "Don't forget to pack your bikinis. Bilisan mo, ha." Tumatawang pagdugtong sakaniya ni Hailey. "Kapag hindi mo binili

In my entire life, I have been carrying many different names. I was a provider, a walking ATM, and a lifeline. Yet, I was never a daughter who was worth being loved and taken care of. They were my own blood, but it was them who drained me until I forgot how it felt to be alive as a human. Hanggang sa dumating siya. Dumating si Ate Xyline. She made me experience how it felt to have a family. She stood by me and acted as my refuge and anchor. She showed me how it felt like to be loved, and I felt the same for her. I still do. I will always do.But hearts could sometimes be cruel and selfish. While the love of Ate Xyline belongs to Zeidan, his love has never been hers to claim. It was meant for me. I never made the decision to own it, but I couldn't resist falling for him. Each day, I have been falling deeper into his warm arms, those that Ate

Against my skin, the cold breeze of the night brushed and seeped into me. It served as a quiet reminder of how time flew so fast. Past in silence, the days have slipped. Before I could feel it, graduation had come and gone. I still can't get over the idea that everything I've waited for a long period in my life had already went pass my eyes. The bittersweet memories of that day until I stepped on the land of San Vicente remained with me. It was unshakable and undeniable, it was engraved on the deepest of my soul. Time never stopped ticking. It only moved faster and pulled me, unminding whether I was ready or not. Suddenly, the world revolving around me felt different. The cameras were clicking in steady, yet familiar rhythm while the flashes were bursting like the stars that blink on the dark skies. The set rose alive. There were stylist everywhere.
