Chapter 21.

Olivia's POV.

As the water closed over my head for the second time. I panicked and gasped, causing the frigid water to enter my mouth.

I didn't want to swallow it but I had to breathe. So, I gulped the cold water down my throat and it caused a chilled feeling in my lungs.

Once again, I managed to bring out my head from the water.

"Help!"

My eyes caught Leonardo but before I could see what he was trying to do, the water covered my face again and this time I couldn't hold my breath.

As I tried breathing, more water entered my mouth and nostrils. My hands couldn't lift anymore and I felt my body sinking.

It seemed like no one was going to save me.

As I slowly lost myself and my eyes closed, I felt a hand wrap around my waist and pull me up.

But before I could be brought from the water, I slipped into unconsciousness. I don't know how long I was out but I jerked out of my unconscious state, coughing water.
