I always knew this very day would come and somehow, I thought it would be, because of me going off to college and not over to some company to become a secretary.

I mean, i could literally see the sadness in their eyes even though, they have not said the word out loud, but i could still feel the gloomy attitude in the air.

Gosh!

I chewed on my food and swallowed hard before looking at my mom. She look worst than my dad. All sad and miserable and it literally breaks my heart to see her like that.

I reached over the table and placed my hand over hers and she stopped eating and turned and stared at me, her brows narrowing at me.

"What is it sweetie, why did you stop eating your food. You don't like your favorite mash potatoes anymore?"

I shook my head slightly. "No mom, it's none of those" I took a short pause and adjusted on my chair. My eyes watching her carefully.
