Chapter 1- The Beginning.

The sounds of a newborn baby are heard throughout Opal Moon Kingdom.

It was a cold December night, the snow hadn’t quite fallen.

A Winter storm was approaching quickly.

What should have been a joyful day for the kingdom, quickly became a nightmare.

“Iris” I said looking into my beautiful queens striking green eyes.

“she has your hair, and eyes”.

I leaned my head down and whispered to my daughter.

“You will do great things one day little princess”.

I kissed her on the forehead and laid her gently on iris chest.

“Honey, is there anything we can wrap her in? It's a bit cold.”

I made my way over to the bassinet picking up a pink blanket.

I watched in awe as she wrapped our daughter into her pink blanket gently.

“Little princess, you’re beyond beautiful, I can’t wait to see the queen you become one day”.

Iris cradled the baby girl to her chest watching as she fell asleep holding her finger.

“What should we name her?”

I began stroking my beard deep in thought.

“I’ve got an idea, we should name her Helga!”

Iris glared at me as if saying “you really couldn't have picked a better name than that.”

“What? You know Helga was a strong warrior in the wars, it would be an honor to have her name.”

Queen Iris looked out the window into the night she saw a large star shining bright in the night sky. She looked down at her daughter smiling.

“Her name will be Star.”

“Star” he said to himself.

“Such a beautiful name for our princess. How about you get some rest and I’ll lay star down in her crib, I have some papers to go over regarding the attacks on the kingdom.”

“That sounds nice dear, thank you.”

Before handing her to Orrik she kissed star on her head and wished her goodnight.

I gently picked Star up heading towards her crib, I laid her down carefully, lightly caressing her head.

Looking over I watched as iris drifted off to sleep from the exhaustion of birth.

“Goodnight little princess, sleep well.”

walking away from the crib, I received a mind link from one of my top warriors.

“King Orrick, there are rogues attacking the kingdom from every direction, there's at least 200 of them!”

“Send out every available warrior, I will be out there soon! Make sure to send four extra warriors to guard your queen and the princess!”

Taking one last look towards the crib that held my daughter, me and my wolf knew we had to protect our family. I ran out of the castle and headed towards the rouges. Ready to take out any threats.

UNKNOWN POV

Standing on the roof of the castle, I looked below knowing this was King Orrick's room.

I could hear them talking about the child.

“Her name will be star”. I heard the queen say.

I waited patiently for the rogues to attack the kingdom knowing it wouldn’t be long now.

King Orrik would have to help with the amount of rouges Agatha had sent here.

I only had an hour left before the witches spray wore off so I had to be quick. The spray she gave me will hide my scent and leave it untraceable.

Looking down I noticed they had left the window open.

I looked out into the kingdom, waiting until I heard fighting erupt everywhere around the kingdom. I moved quickly making my way down the roof

and onto the ledge.

I eased my way through the window landing quietly on the ground of the kings room.

The room was dark only illuminating the moon light.

I quietly walked to the crib and picked up the baby, she was fast asleep wrapped in a pink blanket.

I knew I had to be quick before the guards arrived.

I sprayed the baby with the witches spray so no one could trace her scent as well.

I heard footsteps approaching. Looking at the child I knew I didn't wanna hurt her so I used the sling I had brought to hold the baby in.

she began to stir and cry, before the queen woke up I ran towards the window and jumped out on the ledge and made my way to the side of the castle.

I felt the wind whipping around us, as i began descending the castle.

Jumping into the trees leading into the dark forest i began my journey.

I made my way to the ground running fast towards the kingdoms borders.

The witch told me to wait there and a portal would appear. She said it would bring me to the Blazing moon pack border.

I could hear fighting all around me so I knew I had to be quick. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a wolf, one of the king's warriors, the warrior lifted his nose to the sky sniffing.

Looking down at the child she began to cry and wail. Hearing a furious growl from the wolf I knew I was spotted.

Looking in the distance I saw the portal opening. I ran even faster holding the screaming child tight to me.

I made our way through the portal, feeling nauseated going through it. I stumbled out but I caught myself looking down to make sure the child was okay.

Looking up shocked I realized we were at the border of the blazing moon pack.

Coming out from the shadows was the arrogant Alpha Wade. He had a sinister smile on his face.

Seeing his face made me regret my decision to give him the baby, but I knew I couldn't because this was a part of my job.

I started walking towards the alpha and handed him the baby carefully so as not to drop her.

“It’s always a pleasure doing business with such a famous man like yourself.” Alpha Wade smirked looking at me.

I just grunted in response to the alpha.

“Tell the witch I’ll be in contact.”

With that Alpha Wade began to descend back into the shadows.

“Wait”

Alpha wade looked back anoyyed.

“Her name is Star.”

He looked in thought for a second before looking anoyyed again.

“Star?”

I didn’t say anything beginning to walk away but before I did I looked back seeing them disappear.

I don't know why but I felt bad for once in my life handing that baby over to Alpha Wade.

I vowed to myself after giving up that baby that I was done with this life. There was no turning back now, I knew I couldn't fix what I had done.

I noticed the portal opening back up, taking a deep breath I walked back through.
