CHAPTER SEVENTEEN
Stephanie sat in the living room with her leg crossed on the other, patiently waiting for Irene to come down the stairs. She saw Vanessa at the mini bar beside the dining room where she was reading with a bottle of red wine. She quietly observed her and noticed she could be a little bit friendly and walked up to her. "Hey you," she said, putting up a sweet friendly smile.
Vanessa looked up at her briefly, “hi.”
Stephanie licked her lips with her smile still on, “remember me?”
“Should I?” Vanessa asked without looking up.
“Not really though,” she chuckled, “but I was the decorator on your brother’s anniversary and also your sister in law’s friend, Stephanie by the name.”
“Nice to meet you.”
“Okay, and you are?”
Looking up at her, she answered, “Vanessa.”
