Rose’s POV

The balcony was quiet.

Too quiet.

The kind of quiet that makes your heart beat louder than it should.

I stood there with my hands resting lightly on the cold rail, staring down at a world that didn’t belong to me. The mansion was huge, elegant, frightening. Everything here screamed power and danger, and yet I was trapped inside it like a fragile thing that didn’t know how to survive in a storm.

I was wearing a short gown they had given me.

Soft fabric.

Too soft.

It clung to my body in ways I wasn’t used to. The neckline dipped lower than anything I owned. I kept tugging at it unconsciously, uncomfortable, exposed. My skin felt too bare, like I had been stripped of more than just clothes.

I hugged myself lightly.

I still couldn’t fully remember collapsing.

I remembered fear.

I remembered running.

I remembered seeing him.

Damien.

And then… nothing.

The doors behind me suddenly slammed open.

The sound cut through the quiet like a blade.

I jumped.

My heart slammed against my chest as I turned slowly.

Damien stood there.

His presence filled the room instantly. He didn’t rush toward me. He didn’t smile. He didn’t speak. He just stood there, staring at me like I was something unfamiliar… something that didn’t belong.

His eyes dropped for just a second.

I felt it.

That look.

The way his gaze lingered on my exposed skin, on the way the gown rested on me.

Something unreadable crossed his face.

Then it vanished.

His expression hardened again.

“What do you know about Werewolves?” he asked.

The question hit me like cold water.

My breath caught.

“What?” I asked, pretending confusion.

Inside, panic exploded.

My mind raced.

Wolves.

Alpha.

How did he know?

How much did he know?

I forced my face to remain calm, my voice steady.

“ Werewolves are fairytale my mom used to read to me when I was little,” I said carefully. “What about them?.”

His jaw tightened.

I felt it shift.

That slight movement told me everything.

He didn’t believe me.

In a blink—

He was in front of me.... Fast speed.

His hand closed around my wrist and slammed me against the wall.

The impact knocked the air out of my lungs.

Pain shot through my back.

I gasped.

His body caged me in completely. His grip was strong—too strong—but not crushing. His other hand came up to my neck.

Not tight.

Just enough.

Enough to remind me that he could end me if he wanted to.

My eyes filled with tears.

He leaned closer.

So close I could feel his breath against my lips.

For a terrifying second, I thought he was going to kiss me.

Instead, his voice dropped low.

“I know you’re lying,” he said quietly. “Tell me the truth. Or I won’t hesitate to kill you.”

Fear wrapped around my chest like chains.

I tried to push him away.

I couldn’t.

I shook my head, tears spilling now.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” I whispered desperately. “I swear.”

The door creaked open behind him.

“Enough.”

A cold voice cut through the tension.

Kate stepped into the room.

She was holding something.

A photograph.

My breath stopped.

She lifted it up so I could see.

It was me.

And my mother.

My legs went weak.

“How…” I whispered. “How did you get that?”

"Were you at my house... Why?" Why were there at my house.

"Yes, we were at your house, apparently it's not only us that went them... A wolf... The Alpha was there before us."

"What were you doing there... What are you looking for... Who is the Alpha" I lied.

Kate’s eyes were sharp. Calculating.

Damien released me slowly.

I slid down the wall, barely holding myself up.

“ I know you're lying ” Damien said calmly. “You know too much, And you're tied to wolves.”

My heart jumped.

A wolf.

An Alpha.

Adrian.

He had been there.

Checking on me.

The realization sent a strange warmth through my fear.

I smiled.

Just for a second.

Then I composed myself.

That smile didn’t go unnoticed.

Damien’s eyes darkened.

“You don’t know what I’m talking about,” I said quickly. “I don’t know what an Alpha is. I don’t know what wolves are.”

Kate stepped closer.

“If we can’t kill you,” she said coolly, “we’ll kill your mother.”

“No!” I cried.

I stood up fully now, panic consuming me.

“Please don’t touch her,” I begged. “She has nothing to do with this.”

Damien stepped closer again.

He lifted my chin gently.

Too gently.

His eyes locked onto mine.

And I knew.

He was going to enter my mind.... Like what Adrian did when we first met.

Damien’s POV

She was standing by the balcony when I returned.

Alive.

Unharmed.

Beautiful.

The sight hit me harder than I expected.

The gown clung to her body in ways that made my chest tighten. Her skin glowed under the dim light. She looked fragile. Dangerous.

I forced myself not to react.

I asked her about the wolves.

She lied.

Badly.

I lost patience.

I pinned her against the wall, feeling her pulse jump beneath my fingers. Her fear was real. Her denial wasn’t.

When Kate entered with the photograph, everything clicked.

She wasn’t just strange.

She was protected.

Claimed.

By an Alpha.

And I needed to know why.

When I looked into her eyes, I made my decision.

I would enter her mind.

Whatever she was hiding—

I would take it.

Kate’s POV

I watched him.

And I hated what I saw.

Damien was softening.

Over a human.

A useless, fragile thing that should have been dead the moment she became inconvenient.

I wanted her gone.

I wanted her blood spilled.

And if Damien wouldn’t do it—

I would.

  • BETROTHED TO MY LUNA OF TWO WORLDS   98. Forever And Always.

Rose POV The excitement of the moment didn’t end there. The next week. My mother, Caleb, and Matthew guided us to the wedding hall...a grand place, decorated with the blend of wolf tradition and human elegance. Silver crescents and soft lights hung overhead. The air vibrated with energy, and I could feel the other wolves present, acknowledging us, ready to celebrate. Adrian squeezed my hand, and I felt his power radiate through me. I knew I could trust him completely, not just with my life, but with my heart. The seer was there too, calm ,her eyes softening as she saw the bond between us. She had guided us through so much, and now she was witness to our choice, our union. The ceremony began. Adrian and I stepped forward, our paws and hands entwined, facing each other fully. We looked into each other’s eyes...the wolf and the half-wolf, the alpha and the Luna...and we spoke our vows. Not just words, but promises born from hardship, survival, love, and mutual respect. "I pro

  • BETROTHED TO MY LUNA OF TWO WORLDS   97. A Union Of Worlds.

Rose POV When I opened my eyes, all I saw was… him. ..Adrian. His face hovered above mine, relief shining in his eyes, mixed with the sharp intensity of an alpha who had feared the worst. “You’re awake,” he said softly, his hand brushing my hair back. His voice...calm, warm, unwavering...was a lifeline. I blinked slowly, trying to take in the scene. The streets were gone. The chaos was gone. The smell of blood and fire faded. And yet… I could feel the lingering heat of the light I had released, the echoes of power rippling inside me. “Did… did we win?” I asked, my voice hoarse, barely audible. Adrian’s eyes softened. “Yes. You… we won. But you’ve been asleep for two weeks.” “Two… weeks?” My chest tightened. My mind spun. Two weeks gone in a flash? “Yes,” he said, his thumb brushing my cheek. “The vampires are defeated. Some humans were lost, yes… but mostly, they were protected. And the rest… humans don’t know anything. The government has been guided. They think it wa

  • BETROTHED TO MY LUNA OF TWO WORLDS   96. The Light Of The Luna.

Rose POV Everything around me was chaos. I could feel it vibrating through the ground beneath me, in the air around me, in my chest. Wolves were falling. Humans were screaming. Vampires… their eyes burned with red fire, teeth bared, claws slashing anything that moved. I could hear the crack of bones, the tearing of flesh, the roar of alpha wolves trying to hold back the tide. I wanted to run, but my legs felt heavy. My heart pounded so fast I thought it might burst. And all I could think was… I am the Luna. I am the bridge between the worlds. And yet… I can’t save anyone. I can’t stop this. Fear gripped me. The weight of everyone depending on me… it was suffocating. Then Kate landed me a blow...I fell. And then, almost instinctively, I focused. I closed my eyes. I felt the pull of something deep inside me, something I had barely understood until now : my connection to the spiritual realm, to the Luna power I had carried all along. I whispered into the chaos: "Luna spirit

  • BETROTHED TO MY LUNA OF TWO WORLDS   95. The Red Night.

Adrian POV The sky turned red. Not slowly. Not gently. One moment the night was dark like any other night, and the next moment the moon changed. A deep red light spread across the sky, painting the world in a strange color. The Blood Moon had come. Humans looked up in curiosity. News channels spoke calmly, calling it a rare natural event. Scientists explained it. People took pictures. Some even celebrated it. They didn’t know. They didn’t know what it meant. They didn’t know that this night decided the fate of their world. All the wolves gathered. Not in the human world. But in the spiritual realm. The air there felt heavy. Sacred. Powerful. Every wolf stood in their true form. No lies. No hiding. Just strength. Just instinct. Just spirit. Rose stood beside me. Caleb stood behind us. The strongest wolves from all over the world surrounded us. Alphas. Leaders. Warriors. Everyone was ready. The Seer had prepared the chants. Rose and I stepped forward together. O

  • BETROTHED TO MY LUNA OF TWO WORLDS   94. Before The Blood Moon.

Rose POV I never imagined my life would turn into this. A few weeks ago, I was just a normal girl. I worried about work, traffic, bills, and simple things. Now, I stood in the middle of a large training field, surrounded by powerful wolves, learning how to survive a world I didn’t even know existed years ago. The morning air was cool, but my body was warm from movement. “Again,” Caleb said. I exhaled slowly and adjusted my stance. Adrian stood a few steps away from me, watching carefully. Matthew stood beside him, his arms folded, his eyes sharp and observant. I moved forward and attacked. Caleb blocked easily. Too easily. Before I could recover my balance, he tapped my shoulder lightly. “If that was a real fight,” he said calmly, “you’d be on the ground already.” I groaned. “I know.” Matthew stepped forward. “You’re thinking too much,” he said. “Stop trying to fight perfectly. Just react.” I nodded. I was tired. But I didn’t want to stop. Because this wasn’t practi

  • BETROTHED TO MY LUNA OF TWO WORLDS   93. The Bond Accepted.

Adrian POV The night felt different. Heavy. Sacred. Alive. The full moon hung high in the sky, brighter than I had ever seen it. Its silver light spread across the sacred grounds like a blessing from the Moon Goddess herself. Wolves had gathered from everywhere. Alphas. Betas. Leaders. Elders. The strongest wolves across territories stood in silence around the shrine. No one spoke loudly. No one moved unnecessarily. Everyone understood what tonight meant. This ritual would decide everything. My fate. Her fate. Our future. I stood at the front of the shrine, my hands relaxed at my sides, but inside me, power moved restlessly. It had been unstable since the last ritual failed. My body had recovered, but my spirit still carried the strain. Beside me stood Rose. She looked nervous. Her fingers kept moving slightly, like she was trying to stay calm. Her breathing was slow but not steady. I glanced at her. She met my eyes. There was fear there. But there was also tru
