Chapter 13

Eleanor's p.o.v

I ran as quickly as I could, looking back a few times to make sure no one had seen and followed me.

When the demon king left the room, I took it as my chance to run away. Although I knew nothing about the place, finding the border and exit wasn't going to be hard because a lot of warriors who tried to enter the demon kingdom found it easily.

The only guilt I felt was because I went against the lord's suggestion and plan of helping me out. He was the only one that showed me kindness in that moment, sadly I did not trust him because he was still half demon. His loyalty lay to the demon king and I wasn't going to let him hand me over to him or even worse tell him my plans of escape.

It was getting dark and hard to see but I could at least make out a few things around me.
