Ose's p.o.v

"Ose." The ancient witch called for my attention.

She sat on the ground with her legs crossed and in a drawn circle while drawing some symbols.

"Yes, ancient one." I answered softly.

"Is there something troubling you?" She asked.

"No." I denied then focused on what she was doing.

I was more than troubled because of the female warrior's words.

The way she acted was unlike any other being I had been with. What shocked me the most, was how she admitted to liking my demon form.

She was definitely trying to get me to lower my guard because I knew humans hated snakes. All those years I spent watching Eleanor, I understood that snakes were either killed or treated badly by humans.

Some humans even ran away from them thinking they are all evil or deadly.

"Ancient one, pardon my question but, was there any human being who had ever liked a demon besides Ducan's late mother?" I asked curiously.

She stopped drawing some symbols on a few cloths that had the female warriors'
