Jason was marveled at how rapid his hair grew back. It's been a week since they rescued Mason from the grip of Cynthia. He hadn't responded to Earl's call about Marco wanting to see him or either confront Yul or Cynthia about everything. He was going to fix his family first before any other thing.

Cara had finally reunited with Mason, she wouldn't believe when she saw him. She held onto him for so long that Jason feared she'd crushed him. They both slept in the same bed ever since that day.

Jason sat beside her bed, helping them peel the oranges he bought when he went out. Amber had taken a break to spend some time with Evans. It was the least thing he could do. She had been the one with Cara since day one.
