One hundred and fifteen

Bellona's heart thundered in her chest as she stood in the waiting room. Today was the day that Zephyr was to introduce her formally to the elders and the pack as his mate.

As much as she was excited, she was also nervous as she thought of the worst possible things.

Will they accept me? Will they reject me as their Luna? She questioned herself.

"Are you okay?" Zephyr asked, breaking her line of thoughts.

"Yeah, I'm fine" She said with a smile that didn't reach her eyes.

Zephyr, noticing her uneasiness took her hand in his and said. "We can do this another time if you're not ready."

"No. No, let's do it today. I'm fine" Bellona interjected immediately. Although she wanted to agree with Zephyr and reschedule, but the elders and the pack members were already out there, waiting to see how.

They certainly would not be happy to find out that she had stood them up. It would give them another reason to dislike her aside all she had done.
