CHAPTER 19: FEELING BAD

Dale’s POV

I need to talk to you. I’ll come over to your place.

My heart jumps out when I read Chelse’s text message for me. I thought it’d take long for her to decide to meet me but I am just glad now.

I get myself ready and clean the house to make it tidy and pleasant. It’s not messy so it didn’t take long to clean it.

[KNOCKS ON DOOR]

She’s here! She must have been near when she called me. She arrived earlier than I anticipated.

“You’re here---”

I lost my smile and my excitement when I saw someone else than Chelsea. It was Stacey with her bright sweet smile.

“Hi babe!” she cheerfully greeted me.

“H-hi”

I awkwardly smiled back when she wasn’t the one that I expected to see.

“W-what are you doing here?” I stammered.

“Visiting you like I always do. I brought some of your favorite foods. We’ll be eating together to fill the missed days that we didn’t meet and eat together. What do you think?” she still wearing that bright smile.

“S-sounds good”

“Why do you look uneased, are you okay?”
