CHAPTER FORTY TWO
Walutanga cried his lungs out till he got tired. For the last few hours, He couldn’t see anything but could feel he was confined to a tiny space and he was in something that was moving. He remembered what happened before he blacked out.
He was with Hunter and Ludo and Hunter was fighting the little man who seemed to get the better of him. He had woken up at a house with Ludo by his side who didn’t seem to be alive. He tried to wake her up but she wasn’t waking up till the little man came. Walutanga watched him admire the unconscious Ludo till he started undressing her. He couldn’t watch what the little man wanted to do with Ludo. He got up and fought him off throwing anything he could in the room at him. He dragged Ludo to his side and threatened the man that he would kill him. He knew he couldn’t but he was lucky when the other man came in the room.
“What’s wrong Devi?” the other man, who happened to be Ben, had asked.

Hunter sprinted after Stone. He saw him cross the busy road without fear. The cars hooted causing traffic on the road. Hunter ran past the cars sliding on top of the hood of one car. He could see Stone looking back as he ran and everytime he did, he increased his pace but Hunter was on him like a lion. She stood before the gate, looked at her watch: 18:41. She knocked again for the third time. The neighborhood was quiet. No one was in sight and that gave her chills but it was probably because of what she’d been through lately. Get ahold of yourself Ludo, she told herself.The gate squealed and Kate peeped. ****ONE MONTH LATER***** Ludo, Lance, Kate and Walutanga came out of the Magistrate court excited. They had managed to put the criminals behind bars. Naveen was sentenced to forty years imprisonment. Ben cooperated by being an informant and his sentence was reduced to 10 years. Grace was put in a mental hospital. After Mapulanga died, she somehow went crazy. “Ludo!” Melanie shouted at Ludo. Ludo went over to where Melanie was. She was with her husband and son. “Hey beautiful family,” said Ludo. “Congratulations to you Ludo” Melanie’s husband said. “Thanks Norton and thank you Melanie,” she hugged her. “You really helped us clear Hunter's name.” “No problem dear. Where is he by the way?” Melanie asked. “He never came to trial. Not even a single day. The moment he was released after that arrest, he went AWOL.” she said. “That’s Hunter for you,” Ludo replied with a smirk. “Anyways, We are going now.” Melanie
