07: Escape

"Estrella?"

Princess Estrella turned her head to the door when the Queen addressed her. She put down Luna's dress and bowed to her mother.

The Queen walked closer to Luna's bed. A warm smile automatically showed on her face as she saw how her granddaughter was soundly sleeping. A sudden flashback of Estrella's childhood lingers in her mind.

Where did the time go?

"She is so pretty as you are," she whispered, then looked at Estrella, "You're not planning to sneak her out later, aren't you?"

The question was like a bomb that dropped on her heart. Her mother knows well how her mind works. She can't easily lie to her.

She licked her lips, moving her eyes away from her mother's, "I... I can't let her live here."
