14: Two Marks

Vico nags, pointing at the area beneath my eyes, "You shouldn't load yourself for too much, look how big your eyebags are.

"We have examinations coming up, Mr. Vico. Did you even study?" I smacked his hand and rolled my eyes at him.

"No need. I can ace the examinations with or without reviewing," he smugly said.

I laughed and said, "Huh, good luck, then," before turning away from him.

He was so conceited, ugh! I honestly don't know how or why I became his friend. For me, he was only a headache.

Vico pursued me and kept making fun of me till we came to our floor's corridor. As I enjoy making fun of him, a gaggle of girls suddenly block our path.

As soon as I recognized their faces, my brows wrinkled. They were the girls who were ready to offer Vico a gift, but Venice told them something that caused the girl in the middle to stab me in the face.

Vico kindly urged them to relocate, "Ah, pardon me. We're going to be late for our lesson. Can you move?" yet they made not a single move.
