I am aware that I don't know anything about Indian culture, however, Avanti looked serious when she said those words to me.

However, I had no choice but to tell her the truth, Avanti got angry and wanted to teach Pinky a lesson.

I begged her not to because the more we drag on the issue the more chances I give Mrs. Anuradha to pester me.

I shut the door after some time I got a call from Abhishek, he asked me to come outside the gardens.

Before I got a chance to interrogate them, he got the call disconnected.

I wore my slippers and walked to meet him.

It was midnight and I met the entire place dark, I searched for him but Abhishek was nowhere found.

The light came on suddenly, I looked around and glimpsed at the decorations, I also saw the romantic dinner table set up for two people.

"Hello, javelin?"

I turned back to find Abhishek sticking out a rose flower, he placed it on my palm and asked me to the seat.

There was something strange going on, why this ?, What's happening?.

Abhishek passed a glass of champagne to me, I collected it and he grinned, filling his.

He asked me to get up, I did and we locked hands and clicked our glasses against each other.

Abhishek took my hands and wanted us to dance, I dropped the glass on the table and went with him.

There is something strange happening.

I noticed a change in the atmosphere.

Abhishek pulled me a little and said.

"Can I tell you something?"

I shook my head and asked what.

He laughed a little and before my eyes went on one knee.

I held my mouth in awe.

Mr. Ajay walks in with the rest of the family, to witness what is happening.

Abhishek inhaled a little and asked me before everyone if I would love to get married to him.

Oh my gosh! Marriage.

I asked him why.

He said he had always loved me since the first day his sister showed my photo to him.

Avanti nodded and expressed her desire of always want me to get married to her brother.

Mrs. Anuradha however had a lot to say, I saw that on her face.

Unfortunately, Mr. Ajay pulled her back and whispered something to her ears, and that instantly got her to calm down a little bit.

Abhishek asked for my approval.

I stuttered having no words to say.

Pinky gets Infuriated and leaves the garden, Mrs. Anuradha pulls her husband's hands away and follows her.

I looked at Avanti and Mr. Ajay, they were both anxious to hear my response.

Do I have to say yes, right away?

I begged Abhishek to give me some time to think, he rose and said he was only going to give me three days, and that if I didn't make up my mind, he would bother me anymore.

I thanked him and ran away. Avanti came shouting out my name, Mr. Ajay asked her to give me some time alone to think, I went to the balcony to set my mind to rest when my two least favorite people decided to visit me.

I turned back and confronted them.

"What is it now? I said.

Mrs. Anuradha immediately rebuked me, she grabbed my hands with force and tried pushing me off the balcony.

Luckily, Mr. Ajay comes out to see us struggling.

"What is happening?" He yelled.

Pinky immediately gave her for him to walk close to, he took my hand away from his wife.

"Dear are you okay?"

He asked me.

"Yes sir, thanks to you,"

I replied.

He asked me to leave, I walked out of the balcony and left them alone to talk.

I had no idea what was happening when Pinky ran out screaming Abhishek's name.

I looked back and noticed something was wrong, I ran back to the balcony and I met Mrs. Anuradha looking down

I rode ahead to see what made her freeze, I looked and met Mr. Ajay lying on the ground.

He had fallen off the balcony.

Abhishek and Avanti both came in together, they found their father lying lifeless on the ground.

Mrs. Anuradha fell to the ground and began to cry, Abhishek asked his, mom, what happened, but when Mrs. Anuradha was unable to find her words, Pinky bumped into me and said I had pushed his father off the balcony.

I froze.

Avanti looked at me with shock, Abhishek asked his mom for the final verdict, and Mrs. Anuradha raised her head to meet my eyes already tearing up.

I begged her to tell the truth, it's unlikely to believe I would push Mr. Ajay off the balcony.

However, Mrs. Anuradha being the witch that she is, lied to her son that he had seen me push her husband off the balcony.

Avanti falls to the ground.

Abhishek confronted me, he grabbed me down to the living room and asked Pinky to call the police.

I begged him not, I tried to make him understand, however, the lies his mom and pinky had administered, made him blind to the truth.

Pinky picks up her phone to call the police. She grinned and walked away.

I saw Mrs. Anuradha hiding behind her son.

"Ma'am, can you please tell the truth?".

I said

She ignored and instigated her son the more, the police came to the mansion afterward, and Abhishek pointed out my direction and asked them to take me away.

This can't be happening.

I begged Abhishek to reason with me, he however took offense to my words and mounted the charge of being his father's murderer.

Avanti stood as they took me away.
