Trust issues

Leonardo removes the mask from his head and we came face to face with him, "hello Chris and Alexis!! How have you been". (Smiles evilly).

"What the hell are you doing here!! I don't understand!! Why aren't you dead?". ( Chris asked feeling doubtful.

"Aww!! Did you think, I died?"  He asks donning the same look at us and while we both juggled our head, he lets out a soft chuckle, (continues talking) "by the way!! How's my son, I know he's doing well since he now the CEO of Hart's cooperation". (Adds up his words).

"Yes!!! But that doesn't answer my question, why the hell are you still alive? Keith told us!!" ( I tried speaking but he swops in and caught me) " that I tried to kill him and in return he did!! By putting a bullet in my head". (He says).

"Yes," I affirmed his words.

Apparently while trying to get more word from him, Chris was busy getting himself loosed.

Leonardo loomed his eyes round and smiled his way out, leaving us behind, and the second his feet ambled away, the ropes tied around fell off, which immediately gained my attention over to him.

"What the hell!!"

He shoots me a sly smile and gets mine loosed as well.

"Come on!! Let's go" 

He dragged me away and while trying to escape from the place we were kept, Chris and I, ran into the goons left to keep a watch on us.

"Oh my goodness, what are we going to do?".

Chris pulls me back in holding a hand on my mouth to refrain me from speaking.

"Shhh!! Keep quiet" he gestured, looming his eyes for a possible route to escape.

I noticed that my hands were locked with his, our bodies were closer to each other, and his breath made weave round my face, yet his attention was drifted away, Chris was more concerned about getting us to safety, while all I did was get lost in the moment. (Shuddering breathing).

A while later)

"Come on".

We sneaked back out after a few seconds, when the coast was clear,  Chris and I disappeared from the scene and ran to safety.

We both went from going towards the right path and straight into the middle of nowhere, that is to say, Chris and I got lost.

"Oh wow !!! We are both fucking lost" I fell my eyes to him and noticed he also figured out the same thing I did.

"I guess we were and  I hope we don't get eaten since this getting dark here" Chris says and continued looming his eyes around.

And if that wasn't enough, we both took heed of raging footsteps ambling towards our directions with touch lights and watchdogs as well.

"Make sure you find them!". Leonardo says in anger, ambling further in our directions.

Chris didn't wait for long, he holds unto me and we ran further to refrain from getting caught by him.

( Continues running).

For hours we kept on running, yet it seems the more we do that, the further they approach towards our directions.

Luckily Chris pulls me into a cave and covered me with his body, "what are you doing?" I asked and watched me attempt the same action, "what does it look like? I am doing this so, they wouldn't be able to see us and truly, I wouldn't want them to". Chris said to me.

Somehow I felt protective with him by myself, and it was quite different as to how I felt about Keith, indeed they might not share the same blood but one is more carer than the other, and this makes me what to ask, is Keith truly the one for me?". (Weak smile).

Not quite long, Leonardo moves forward with his goons, their feet were like an angry mob and it wasn't going to be easy to leave without getting found out.

"Search everywhere for him?". Leonardo said as they flew at his command's.

Leonardo pushed me to a tight spot and when a light ran past, he tugged my head to his chest and forcefully made me lay on it. (Still laying on his chest).

Leonardo goons walked past the cave we were in, and luckily we weren't found out by them.

Chris pulls away from me, creating a distance between us, he poked his head and saw them ambling further, he repaid his attention to me.

"They are gone?" He says donning a relieved look on his countenance.

I dropped on a boulder copying the same look on my face, Chris walks closer and sits next to me.

He says, " are you okay?".

I jerked my head in approval, "yes!! I am but what I am trying to understand is!! How the hell is Leonardo still alive because we both know what happened exactly?". I said

Chris adds up his words, "Indeed, but the only person who can explain to us, is my brother!! So I suggest we seek shelter here and return home tomorrow morning".

My eyes loomed around and noticed we were being surrounded by nothing else but boulders.

"Erm!!! You want us to stay here?"  (My words to him).

"Yes!! Do you perhaps have any other options but it's either we stay here or get kidnapped once again by fabian's goons". Chris said.

Apparently, after weighing my options, I had no other choice but to accept the first choice.

"We can stay here!" smiles lovely to him and I watched as he removes his jacket and places it over my shoulders.

(Continues talking)

"Why?". I assumed.

"What do you mean why? It's getting cold and there isn't any blanket to cover yourself, perhaps, you wouldn't mind using your shirt as one". ( He falls his eye down, evilly).

I toured the intense gaze while he stared at my chest, directly to my boobs.

"Hey!!? Get your head up?" I snapped as he sews his eyes up to meet my gaze. "What? Why the look?". (He kept the same look on).

"Are you asking me that?" I said donning an off look.

Laughs out loud, "no!!  My apologies, for that and now, you can go to sleep, I'll keep watching".

Chris gets up and walks over in the opposite direction away from me, I kept a watch and slowly slept off.

The next morning, I raised my head and saw him seated in the same position I did last night.

"Good morning, Chris! You didn't sleep although the night right" I said as he veers his eye over to me.

"Yeah!!! I can't feel my eyes and now!! Let's go home". With a tried look on, he held me by my hands and strolled back home.

(3 hour's later)

We stroll in and caught everyone in a tense mood, Jason kept all calling whereas Elena seats on the couch, donning the same look on.

Keith walks out from the kitchen and took notice of our presence, "oh my goodness!!! You guys are are back" he ran sewing their eyes as well.

"My son! Are you okay?" Jason asked Chris, who falls down unconscious to the floor.

I dropped beside him, and noticed his running a fever, he must have gotten a cold, staying up at the cave.

Immediately, I rushed into the kitchen, to prepare some herbal tea for him.
