Fate of fame

I felt disgusted by his words, indeed as the day goes by, Keith keeps acting like a jerk, "please excuse me" my feet ambled further but he dragged me back and said, "where are you going? Perhaps to meet my brother?" He says still in the process of making me angry.

"Let go of me," I said obtaining to calm myself down, yet he held on to me, donning an odd look on his face.

"Keith!! Let me go?". I copied back my same words to him, finally, he decides to and watched me storm outside.

(8:00pm)

I walked downstairs, after getting ready for the party, hosted by Keith, my feet stroll and came across him chatting with some business partners of his, Keith shoots me a weak smile by welds on to discern my attention was taken away by his brother, ambling through the front door.

I walked up to him, "Hello Mr. Chris". (Smiles)

"Hello miss Alexis! You look beautiful today" he says donning a charming smile on his face.

I juggled my head, and saw he held unto a bottle of champagne, "are you going to drink that?" I sewed his eyes down, he hoists up and answered, "yes!! But I don't mind if a particular someone joins me".

Smiles lovely to him, "oh really!! Mr. Keith, hope he or she can join you?". (Answered back, when walked into our conversation) he says, " and I hope I am not interrupting anything here" (veers to me before repaying his attention to his brother, who smiles and answered, "no brother!!! And if you would excuse me, I'll be right back". (He strolls into the party).

(Awkward moment)

Standing there will Keith was an awkward moment, I had no words to say since everything I do deems like I am being watched, and truly I don't care if he does too.

"Excuse me, sir"

Once again, I tried leaving but still, he held me back, weaving out a question, "can we talk?" He says adding to my response.

I paused for a while, and cabbed into his words, "okay!! No problem, we can talk at the balcony". ( Walks over to the balcony).

He walks behind me and the second I turned back to listen to what he had to say, he pulls me closer and hugged me.

"Erm!!! What's this for?" I asked.

"To show you how sorry I am!! For every hurtful comment I have made all this while!! Please forgive me ". (He says still hugging me)

Buffed out a deep breath, "it's okay Mr. Alvin!!! After all, you acknowledged your mistake". (Waits for a while before he pulls a step backward).

He says, "yes!!! I am but can you do a favor?".

"What?" I asked

"Please stay away from my brother, I don't like seeing you close to him and being friendly". (Keith words to me).

I veered a step backward and throw a fit at his words, "are you mad? How can you possibly ask me to do that?".

He throws him and said, "what do you mean? Alexis, How many times will I have told you not to? How many times do I have to spell it out for you that I am a jealous lover? Huh!!"

(Silence take over for a few seconds before I proceed further with my words)

"You're not serious Keith and before you say anything stupid!! I will make this clear so you could understand"

( Continues talking)

"I will not avoid your brother and yes!! I do know how you feel about me but if you truly love me!! You wouldn't be saying such words to me".

(Storms out)

I was so enraged to a point, I bumped into Mr. Jason (Keith dad) without looking.

"Hey!! Look where you are going too". He says in his deep tone.

"Sorry sir" I apologize and walked further without altering a single word to him. He veers and watched me leave, Mr. Jason wondered what the problem was but got the answer to his question, when Alvin walks out of the same direction I did, donning a sad and a dash of pissed off, also bumped into him without looking, "jeez!! Are you Okay!! What's going on? Did you fight with Alexis?" (Inquiries).

Keith jiggled his head and answered, "yes please!! But don't worry, I'll find to reason with her".  (He walks past the exact way I did).

I walked back to his living room, the same time, there was a blackout. I loomed my eyes trying to find a suitable place to stay safe till the lights were back on.

That's when a hand dragged me away and shoved me inside the storage room, I ran to the door thus noticed it was locked.

"Who's there?"

I screamed out for help yet, no one seems to hear me.

(An hour later)

Luck seems to be on my side, as someone pushed the door open, "hello!! Is anyone here?". Chris says as I conformed to him, "yes please!!! Thank God you're here, it's Alexis!". I said as he follows the sound of my voice to where I stood.

"Oh my goodness!! Are you okay, been looking for you? How did you get yourself locked up in here" (adds up asking a question).

(Inaudible conversation)

While trying to catch my breath, the atmosphere changed and the next thing I knew a dark-colored cloth was dropped over our heads and we both fall unconscious.

Few unconscious hours later----

I unlocked my eyes to see I was tied up to a chair, and Chris was also tied up beside me, he wakes up and falls his eyes to mine "urgh!! What happened? Are you okay?" He says donning an off look at me.

I juggled my head and loomed my eyes around, "where are we?" In return, I asked.

He disapproved of my ideas and said, "I don't know but I ain't waiting to find out, we need to leave from here!".

(Chris twists his ankle trying to break free, that's when a strange shadow walks past and ambled into the room we were being tied down.).

"My oh my !!! Hello, my foster son" a masculine voice lets out to us, and we lifted our heads to decern a masked man ambling further in our direction.

"Who....who are you?" Chris inquired and refrains himself for a while.

"Don't you know, who I am? Can't you remember whose voice this is?". ( The strange man answered back).

I rallied my mind around and froze up the second I concluded that the strange man standing right in front of us was no other than Mr. Leonardo, Keith father.

"You?"  I said and sewed his eyes over to my direction.

"Yes!! It is I? Indeed you're a smart one, unlike this Chris here" ( he answers back to me).

Chris dooms a strange look at me, "what exactly do you mean? Who is he because I don't understand anything?".  He says.

So I answered, "well!! the man here with us is no other but Mr. Leonardo, Keith father and your foster dad". (Answered back).

A startled look drops off and illuminates, "wait!! What did you just say". Chris word to me as he falls a stunning look at him.
