Chapter 37

The sound of spoons and plates, echoed in the kitchen continuously, causing noises in the house. The girls were getting ready to leave for school, and just had breakfast.

Matilda hurried to the kitchen when she heard the noises were becoming louder. She walked in and met some, dropping their plates in the sink, while others were busy beside the fridge.

"I said go drop your plates in the kitchen, I didn't say turn the house to a market. When are you girls going to learn? Tomorrow, you all will insist you're grown up."

"Grandma, we didn't do anything, it's just the noise, and we're rushing to leave home." Hilda responded, holding a cup.

"If you wanted to go earlier, you should have woken up when the alarm rang, and what are you doing with a cup?"

"I want to make milk for mummy before she leaves for work. She doesn't look fine." Nadiyah responded.

I hope you don’t take the criticism to heart because it’s not intentional to insult you at all! A child would say angry or mad, not pissed which is inappropriate for a child to use such vocabulary.
