Chapter eleven

Ball O's POV

"I'm so sorry you had to go through that." Camilla said and that irritated me because she looked at me with pity.

"Please don't look at me like you pity." I told her without looking at her. All my life, that's all I got from people, pity and I was sick of it. I got that look of pity when Andre died, I saw it when my parents died and I see it everytime I tell people one of those sob stories from my past. And I couldn't stand it, it made me feel weak.

"I don't pity you, I actually admire you." She said.

I looked at her but I didn't say anything else.

We were still in my living. I'd been narrating my story for over an hour. Then I realized that someone needed to go back and check on Derek.

Then I needed to get guards to protect Derek in the night in case someone came back and tried to hurt him.
