Knox's POV One night, I stumbled into the club after a heated conversation with my father over my mother's death. That night, I had watched her serve at the bar. She served me but was too scared to hold the glass properly let alone look me in the eyes. Two nights, I watched her practice alone in a room locked away from the nosiness of the crowd. It looked like she danced from an ache. I did see it in her eyes and the way her body hung around the pole as if begging it to give her life structure. I didn't just recognise that ache, I lived it. Three nights, I watched her perform after I paid Eric to give her some freedom. Finally, this was the night she became officially mine. All the performances were just fillers for what I had planned for her. She was going to be the weapon for my dad's destruction and the instrument of my utmost desire. I ordered Dave, my righthand man, to drive her to the villa while I returned the next morning after meeting with Eric and my father.

Knox's POV Things flipped too quickly after I asked her to leave my room. She was more appealing when she was scared and angry.
