CHAPTER 5

Fisya looked at Adnan with pity. Such a small child has to live and study in the same place, without any socialization with his peers and also play like other children.

Yes, Adnan is homeschooled, several teachers have now come to teach him and suddenly his cheerful face has now turned gloomy. It was clear to him that the boy was reluctant, but unfortunately, he couldn't refuse his father's orders.

Of course, this was beyond his expectations because he thought he could at least breathe free air, even if only for a moment, yes ... even if it was just to take Adnan to school. "Are you really homeschooled all this time, Adnan?" Fisya asked in a half whisper.

"Yes, ma'am."

“Why not a school out there? Lots of friends and you can play at the same time.”

Adnan was silent, he then looked at Fisya with a look that the woman had difficulty understanding. “I want to too… but, Father… he won't allow it.”

The woman sighed heavily, of course everything would be clear if it was all Regan's arrogant and possessive will—she thought.

“A-ah… I see, huh? How about later, Mom persuades Dad to let you study outside?”

Hearing that, of course, Adnan was very happy. Being able to go to school outside there, as well as making lots of friends, is what he wanted, but all this time he kept it under wraps because Regan always forbade him to do something, and also often suspected anyone, even a fly, that was really annoying—he thought.

"Really? Will you do it for me?” he asked enthusiastically.

Without hesitation, she nodded slowly. "Yes, of course."

The boy pranced with joy, then he hugged Fisya so tightly. "I love mom!"

There was guilt in his heart because he did it not entirely for Adnan, but for the sake of his sanity as well. But, seeing Adnan so happy, he became even more convinced to try to persuade the man, even though, of course, Fisya knew that things would not be as easy as she thought.

"Well, now study first, okay?"

Adnan nodded slowly. "Yes."

The boy cheerfully walked away, leaving Fisya who was now waiting for him while thinking of ways to persuade Regan after he came home from work.

In the evening, Fisya and Adnan played together in the TV room. He did not feel free, his movements did not escape the scrutiny of Adnan's bodyguards. The girl was actually being watched by Adnan's bodyguards, who were ordered directly by Regan.

When one of Adnan's toys fell to the floor and he picked it up, the guards swiftly approached and watched Fisya closely. "Oh my God, the guards' glances are so sharp at me," Fisya muttered as she closed her eyes.

Trust me, Fisya won't do anything bad. She was just an innocent woman covered in brutal speech. Just that. But unfortunately, because of Regan's very possessive and suspicious orders, it ended up making everything feel suffocating.

In fact, he had been thinking about the best way to persuade Regan, but the presence of Adnan's bodyguards made him unable to think properly and, in the end, only annoyed him.

"Mom why?" Adnan asked when he saw Fisya's oddity. Muttering with eyes closed like crazy.

“W-what? Mom is okay," Fisya replied nervously.

How is the woman not nervous? He was thoroughly cared for, never one of them ever taking their eyes off him. Adnan nodded without the slightest suspicion, with the fear of the woman he thought was his mother.

“Mom, I'm already sleepy. Can you read me a fairy tale before bed?"

"Fairytale? Of course, I can. Which story do you want to hear? Mother is the best in this matter," he said proudly, even though it was all just bullshit.

“The story of a Prince and Princess trapped in a tower. Can?" whined Adnan with sparkling eyes.

Fisha smiled faintly. "How about a new story that doesn't exist in any fairy tales?"

"What fairy tale?"

"Prince and the clever deer who saved him from the tower?"

Adnan frowned in surprise. "Is there a story like that?"

"Of course there is. How? Want to?"

"Yes!"

"Let's go straight to your room, shall we?" Fisya expected Adnan to agree.

Hopefully, the bodyguards would stop following him and pay attention to him. Fisya glanced slightly at the guards. In the end, the girl was caught by one of the bodyguards and was given a sharp glare. He swallowed hard. The woman glanced at Adnan, who was contemplating whether to agree or not. Does the child not feel constrained at all by being watched every second? I've been in this house for one day and I feel like I'm in hell – Fisya's mind is cursed. Plus, with a house of this size definitely having lots of CCTV, one thing the girl had to keep in mind–to always be careful.

"Okay!" Adnan answered, making Fisya's smile widen "But ..." continued the child hanging his words.

"But what?" Fisya asked softly while hiding her anger.

"I want to sleep with Mom and Dad."

“W-what?!” reflex, Fisya covered her mouth.

This is not possible! There was no way she would sleep with an arrogant man like Regan. The girl shook her head vigorously.

"Not! I don't want to!" rejected raw Fisya. The child began to sob because his wish was not approved by his mother. Is that wrong? A small child seems to want to sleep with both parents. Adnan had longed for it as much as he had – the perfect little family.

"Why mom?" Adnan whined more and more tears.

Because I'm not your mother! I'm not your father's wife either! Come on, get it boy! Fisya cursed the child in her heart. But unfortunately, of course, he couldn't admit it in front of Adnan.

His anxiety grew when he saw Adnan crying at this time. “Oh my… how should I explain it?” he muttered.
