The evening breeze was soothing to the nerve as Beatrice sat on the chair outside.

She had taken her bath and now she was waiting for the Lord who had said he would come to see her.

Wondering if he was going to come as she had heard from Herbert that the council meetings took time.

"You should come in Milady. The wind is too Cold, I'm afraid you'll catch a Cold." Olivia said, and Beatrice shook her head.

"I will wait for the Lord here, you do not have to worry about me catching a cold. I'm as cold as they came." She said, and the lady hesitated before leaving her to herself.

She looked up the balcony of her friend to see her seated with an older man and an older woman with another man..she recognized to be a Councilman.

"Beatrice." With the sound of his voice, she jerked up and turned around.

"Milord." She called, smiling.

"Look at you smiling when you should be crying. You almost died." The Lord said, walking closer to her.

He raised his palm and placed it on her forehead
