3. The first meet

Later in the evening, Chloe had suggested to Krystie that maybe they should go out and enjoy the night out, and of course, Krystie was not a fool to not have realized that she was doing all this just for her, she wanted her to feel better from the betrayal and she appreciated it in her mind because she needed it.

Krystie and Chloe had gone to the hotel but their major interest was in the bar region, and that's exactly where they had headed, Krystie wanted to drown all that she was feeling inside, all her pains and sorrows all which had resulted from the two people she used to trust.

Chloe, Krystie's twin was all along beside her, and it was such a surprising thing that today she was the one who had asked Krystie to go out, because normally it is always Krystie who convinces her to go out at times whenever she feels like she needs it, and most always than never Chloe would always reject her because of the two she is the workaholic that would at times carry some of her works home to deal with, which had resulted to Krystie always going out alone with her best friend and workmate, Mark.

Krystie was in for such a long night, taking several shots of beer and still asking for much more, forcing them to clink their glasses, and the good thing is that Mark too had tugged along with them because he too had felt like it was such a long time since he had hanged out with Krystie. After all, even though they are workmates at the Regal Hospital, most of the time they are always so busy with work that it is hard for them to find time to get some rest.

Krystie had just taken the third bottle when she heard a familiar voice behind her. If a similar situation were to happen in the past she would have been the happiest girl in the whole world but as for now she felt nothing but pure disgust for Alex for what he had done, he had trooped so low that she just could not think that all this while she was in love with such a dumb person.

"Baby, can I talk to you, please just let me explain to you," Alex had spoken from behind and Krystie didn't have to be told that he was speaking to her, but just the betrayal part was the only thing that had hurt her, it seemed to her that those two were hypocrites, and she felt that they were a match made in heaven, fit for each other.

Krystie didn't want to look Alex in the face, she felt disgusted with him, all that she wanted was for him to shut up and leave her alone as she was getting irritated with the way he was speaking, and unlike before whenever he would call her baby and Krystie would feel butterflies in her stomach, contrary to it Krystie was instead feeling nothing at all, just pure repulsion to him.

Kevin turned around to face Alex who had a smile on his face, the very same smile that had made Krystie fall in love with him was the very same smile that at the moment she felt was pure devilish, and it only irked Krystie up.

All along even though Mark and Chloe who were seated beside Krystie wanted to speak up, they didn't want to come in between these two lovebirds because this would not be the first time that they had fought, they are always fighting, and making up, and they had warned Krystie several times already about Alex but there was not even once that she has ever listened to them.

Thinking of it as a norm, Chloe and Mark had thought that maybe after Krystie calmed down they most probably make up with Alex, but that was oy because Krystie had not told them i

of what had happened earlier on because if she had done that then most probably Alex would not be standing here watching them with that ugly smile on his face.

"Alex, what else do you want from me, aren't you already happy now that you have got another girl, and your new girl is my friend, "Krystie had blurted shocking the duo who looked at each other in surprise before they turned around to look at Alex who by then already had bent his head down in shame.

Krystie had turned her face towards the entrance of the hotel when suddenly an idea struck her mind, she had seen two men who seemed like they wanted to walk in, they were so much alike in both height and general body physique, and looking at their outfits though it was at a distance, Krystie presumed that most probably they were some kind of businessmen.

Krystie wanted to walk into the second guy who seemed like an assistant to the first person, but just before she could take a step ahead Krystie noticed the guy picking up his phone, looked at it before he took a few steps farther to pick it up, and it was as if Krystie's dream was shattered.

It then occurred to Krystie that she was not just someone to lose that easily and that she was supposed to be a fighter, and a new determination had shone in her eyes, a dangerous kind that frightened Mark and Chloe because Krystie's eyes only shone that bright when she has something terrible cooking up in her mind.

Krystie had picked up the remaining glass of beer and drowned it as everyone on the table stared at her with shock, of course, everyone knew that she was such a light-head that would do all kinds of crazy things possible.

Mark had immediately jumped into action to take the bottle from Krystie but it was too late already because there was no liquor in the bottle.

"I will be back soon," Krystie had spoken sluggishly and left, walking, staggering towards the main entrance of the hotel, after all the liquor had already kicked in her brain system, and everyone watched her not very sure of what exactly she was up to.

Mark, Chloe, and Alex all followed her, but that was until Krystie had stopped before a certain young man made it daon to them what probably she was up to, but it was already too late to stop her, and the only thing that the three people who were watching her had expected for was only the worst.
